We had a reunion of our old school with most being 79 years old. We were in a separate area just us. Most had something to eat and plenty to drink.and a good time was had by all
Nipped in for breakfast and was served up one of the best in the area. Fast service, good value and great people. Keep up the great work guys
Enjoyable lunch in the sunshine at the Markeaton. Chicken skewers and wings went down a treat. Very succulent and flavoursome. Management were very friendly and attentive. Only recommendation would be to reduce the number of outdoor tables to free up some space on the lawn. Always been great for a drink but now has the food to match.
I was with a work colleague in the lounge area and really enjoyed the new atmosphere the refurbishment has created. Had a beautiful pint of Bass! Thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd recommend anyone to come along and enjoy the Markeaton. A great place for everyone to enjoy. The Haddock chips was top class!
Not been to this pub since lockdown, forgotten how good the food was. Good quality food but at a reasonable price.
I had the roast turkey Sunday dinner and it was amazing, love the red cabbage.
Had sticky toffee pudding for afters.
Large modern clean pub with outdoor area.
