Ah, The Broadway – what a lovely little find in Derby, isn't it? I've popped in a few times, and it's one of those places that just makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk through the door. The staff are an absolute delight, always chatting away and making sure everything's just right, which really adds to the cosy atmosphere. The food's a real highlight too; whether it's the mouth-watering Sunday roast or a juicy burger, it's all cooked to perfection and comes with plenty of options for families or those after something veggie. That beer garden is a bonus on nicer days, giving you a spot to relax with a pint after exploring the nearby parks. On the flip side, it does get quite lively, so you might find yourself waiting a tad longer for your meal if it's packed, and I have to say, some portions feel a bit on the modest side, like with the mixed grill – nothing a side order couldn't fix, mind you. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good meal and a laugh, and I'd recommend giving it a go if you're in the area; just pop in early to beat the crowds!
