About This Pub
Ah, The Longlands Tavern – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a second home, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews and the website, it's got this warm, inviting atmosphere where you can settle in with a gin and tonic or a pint of cask ale and chat away the afternoon. The beer garden is a real highlight; it's comfy and well-equipped with heaters, so you can make the most of the good weather without worrying about a sudden shower. Folks have raved about the friendly service and how accommodating the staff are, whether you're hosting a small event in their function room or just dropping in for a quiet drink. It's dog-friendly too, which adds to that community feel. On the flip side, it might not always be buzzing inside if the sun's out and everyone's outside, and the opening times can vary a bit, so you'd want to check ahead. Overall, it's a solid spot for a pint with mates, offering that balance of tradition and convenience without breaking the bank.

Cons
-
It can be a tad quiet inside at times, especially if everyone's out in the garden soaking up the sun.
-
The opening hours seem a bit variable, with some days starting later, which might not suit everyone looking for an early pint.
-
While they do drinks well, there might not be a massive selection of food options, so you could need to plan ahead if you're after a full meal.

I spent a very pleasant afternoon in here, having a quiet gin and tonic with my parents. The service was good. The pub was clean and had a friendly atmosphere. It was fairly quiet inside the pub, as the other people were in the garden, enjoying the sunshine. We chose indoors because we wanted some shade. It's a nice pub and I will visit again.
Thanks so much to Joe and staff for being so accommodating in opening early, accepting a catering delivery and allowing me to host my grandad's wake at the Longlands. This was a pub I've probably not visited in 30 years, the last visit was with my grandad, glad its still a proper pub in the old quarter, he would have thoroughly approved. I was worried about parking but need not have been. Everyone was so relaxed and we could give him the proper send off he deserved! Thanks again and I'd thoroughly recommend xxx
Lovely local pub with comfy sofas and nice wine and beer
Free function room as well which you can decorate and take your own food and music
Well this is one of my local pubs and what can I say. It’s warm, welcoming, cosy , friendly. It serves great food and good beer. The beer garden is comfy and inviting. Kids are welcome till the early evening. Dogs are also welcome too. It’s such a great little pub and believe me you need to pay it a visit. You won’t be disappointed at all. Thanks for such a warm and friendly welcome. The facilities are also super clean ! Such a great place in the heart of Stourbridge’s Old Quarter
A friendly locals pub tucked in amongst the residents.
I had a Young's, served by a friendly young female bartender.
I can imagine this one is busy at times due to the atmosphere and the methods of utilising space.
Will return 👍
