About This Pub
Ah, The Long Room – it's one of those old-school pubs in Tooting that's been around for nearly a century, and you can really sense that warm, community vibe when you step inside. From what I've gathered from chats with others, it's a top spot for grabbing a pint and tucking into some proper pub grub or even a tasty Thai dish like their popular Pad Thai – all without breaking the bank. The happy hour deals are a real treat, and if you're catching up with friends over live sports on Sky, it'll feel like a proper night out. Plus, the hotel side is handy for an overnight stay, with clean rooms that have everything you need and a nice discount on bar tabs. On the downside, though, service isn't always up to scratch; some have had issues with unhelpful staff or orders going awry, and there are tales of the place not being as spotless as you'd hope. The rooms might feel a bit cramped and noisy from the street, so it's not ideal if you're after a peaceful kip. All things considered, it's a solid choice for a casual get-together or a quick escape, but I'd say go in with your eyes open and maybe check it out on a quiet evening to get the best of it.

Pretty awful experience, ate and drank here twice now. Service was pretty bad both times. They don't seem to be happy about serving food, it was unclean, staff were passive and when my food came out incorrectly the server got the kitchen staff out to argue with us and after us explaining we didn't mind, we would eay it. She took the plate and brought it back in a mess, far worse state that it was originally. Very passive staff, bad food and unclean overall. Do not recommend!!!
This is a decent boozer. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is of good quality and reasonably priced. The beer is very good and if you stay the night you get a 10% discount. My room was spotless and had everything i needed. I'd definitely stay here again in future.
Old fashioned pub hotel, sports bar downstairs with Sky. Food at bar til early evening. Lots of restaurants and take aways all around if going out.
Rooms are clean, bed was OK, adequate shower. But if overlooking the front square it's typical city noisy all night and light from street lamps, no blackout curtains. Cheap and cheerful with private free off road car park. OK for Contractors wouldn't want to holiday there.
Great location, and room was absolutely fine for the price. Clean enough, bed was comfy and getting a discount in the bar was good too.
No real gripes, bedding was clean and although the carpet is probably older than me, it had been cleaned
Great place! There is a pub with a hotel above it. The room itself and the toilet are a bit on the small side but that is to be expected given the size of the building but it is clean, tidy with everything I needed for my overnight stay. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. There is off road parking too which is an absolute bonus when staying in London. Many thanks x
