About This Pub
Ah, The Liverpool – it's one of those pubs that really captures the heart of the city, isn't it? From what I've gathered, it's a gem for anyone after a solid pint and some hearty grub; the food comes out fresh and piping hot, and it's got that authentic taste that'll have you coming back for more. The live acts and karaoke add a brilliant buzz, making it ideal for a laugh with friends on a weekend. But, let's be straight, it's not all roses – the toilets are a bit of a letdown, with some folks mentioning they're not the cleanest, which can put a real dampener on things. And while the meals are tasty, you might find portions skimpy, leaving you a tad peckish. Service-wise, it's mostly spot on with a friendly vibe, though there've been a couple of slip-ups that left a sour note. All in all, it's a decent shout for a relaxed night out, as long as you go in with eyes wide open and focus on the good bits.

I have so much great memories in this pub, they serve great food and beer also fantastic live acts
First time visiting the pub and was welcomed in a friendly manner. I ordered some food which was served quickly but not so quickly that you knew it had been warmed up in a microwave like they do in many pubs. This was fresh and hot food and was extremely tasty. It was the first time I had tried Scouse, but it was a very enjoyable experience. I would certainly recommend anyone who has not tried it before to try it. Guiness was poured correctly and tasted as it should do and was not too bitter tasting as it does when not looked after. Locals also friendly to a non local which was nice. Overall very nice experience and will definitely be visiting on my next trip to the city.
It's a busy pub, but not overly busy. I ordered Scouse to try it, and to be honest, a small portion of beef stew was received. This was very tasty, but not the taste I was expecting when I ordered Scouse.
Your toilets are a disgrace..we were sitting by the loos as nowhere else to sit and the smell was appalling ladies was the worst when I went in one toilet was blocked it was dreadful. Also gents just as bad. Surely you can invest in new toilets with the amount of business you do ! Really putting us off going again.
The atmosphere at this place was really enjoyable, and I loved the karaoke setup. However, I had an unpleasant experience with the service. When I asked the bartender if the ice could be removed from my lemonade, he used his hands to strain it and transferred to a new glass then refilled the glass and offered it back to me. I found this unhygienic and couldn’t bring myself to drink it. While I didn’t want to make a scene, I felt so offended.
