About This Pub
Ah, The Leaping Wolf – what a delightful spot it is in Wolverhampton, isn't it? From the reviews, it's clear this place really shines with its lively atmosphere, particularly if you're popping in before a game at the nearby stadium; it's spot on for soaking up that pre-match excitement without any fuss. The staff are an absolute treat, always going the extra mile to make newcomers feel welcome, whether you're a local or from further afield, and they've got a great selection of drinks at fair prices that keep things enjoyable. Plus, it's kept nice and tidy, with little touches like the friendly dog adding a homely charm that'll put a smile on your face. On the flip side, though, it's worth noting that food isn't always on the menu due to the odd unforeseen hiccup, so if you're after a proper meal, you might want to plan ahead or keep your expectations in check. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed pint and good company, but like any pub, it's got its quirks – still, I'd say it's well worth a visit for those laid-back evenings out.

Been here just before a game ,lots of supporters here ,the pub copes well and serve great drinks .Great pub.
Went for lunch but nothing was available due to unseen circumstances but I still decided to stay had a few soft drinks and decided to have a bag of crisps lovely atmosphere really lovely lady behind the bar customers are so friendly will be going back very friendly pub plus a lovely little dog that was there so friendly
It was nice to meet a good host and good neighbors! It was a great place to relax and feel at home while away from home...This is a pub I frequented for a month. Even though I don't understand the language well, they waited kindly and explained things well. This is the place I want to go back to the most during my month-long trip to England.
The drinks taste good and are not expensive!! Thanks to this, unlike other stores, you can drink a lot of alcohol for the same price.
Visited on a whim last week, Can't rate the food as we didn't eat but the prices on the menu appeared consistent with the rear of town so it gets 3 stars for that alone.
Nice clean lil pub with good service, I can imagine them being absolutely rammed on match days they're probably reliant on this to keep them going due to location.
Drinks prices are on par with more central venues. Free pool on Wednesdays was nice too see but we didn't stay long enough for the table to free up.
What a gem! They have it all - great atmosphere and food, steps from Molineux Stadium plus the owners are amazing! On Matchday - get there before the crowds so you can play with Rex and learn about the 3rd floor :) We were visiting from the USA and everyone made us feel like family. Wish we could go here before (and after) every Wolves game!
