About This Pub
Ah, let me share my thoughts on The Ladbroke Arms – it's this delightful little pub tucked away in Notting Hill that just hits the spot for a laid-back afternoon or a hearty dinner. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is a real standout; think mouthwatering Sunday roasts with those massive Yorkies and unique twists like roasted beetroot salad, all made from sustainable, seasonal ingredients that leave you wanting more. The vibe inside is so cosy and homely, perfect for catching up with friends over a pint, and it's ace that they welcome families and even dogs, making it feel inclusive and fun. On the upside, the staff are absolute gems, always on hand with a smile and top service that makes you feel right at home. But, to keep it real, it does get a tad crowded at times, especially when the sun's out and everyone's spilling onto the street, so you might need to plan ahead or pop in early to avoid the hustle. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for good grub and good times, though I'd say it's best enjoyed on a quieter day for that full relaxed experience.

I recently visited the Ladbroke Arms Pub in Kensington with my husband and daughter, and it was such a great experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was on another level thanks to the talented Brazilian chef. We had a delicious Sunday roast 🤩full of unique and sophisticated flavours and the drinks were excellent.
Our daughter, who’s usually very picky, absolutely loved her kids’ Lemon & Thyme Chicken Roast, which says a lot!
The highlight for me was the Peach Melba Pavlova. I tried it for the first time and adored it 🤩the sweet and sour combination was perfectly balanced and truly unforgettable.
Our experience was made even better by the outstanding service. Aline was very friendly and attentive, always checking on us to ensure we were comfortable. Magdalena, the manager, was there overseeing everything, ensuring the entire place ran smoothly.
Highly recommend this gem if you’re after a proper pub experience with fantastic food and service!
Excellent food, fish and chips was great and artichoke soup delicious. Very friendly staff! Thank you!!
The Ladbroke Arms is your quintessential British pub—but polished, styled-up, and very Notting Hill. We came on a sunny Saturday around 3:30 PM. From the street, it looked packed, but most of the action was outside with the pint crowd. Inside, it was much calmer—ideal for a relaxed meal with my mom.
We ordered the battered haddock (call it what it is—fish and chips), a scotch egg, and the beetroot salad. The fish was perfect: crisp, fresh, and cleanly plated. If you’re looking for a refined, non–greasy spoon take on the classic, this is absolutely that. The scotch egg was a beast—impressive in size and construction, but could’ve used a little more flavor.
Would I go back? Maybe. Would I recommend it? Definitely. It delivers an experience that feels curated but not precious. If you’re after something with a bit more grit, you might look elsewhere—but for a handsome, confident version of a London pub, this fits the bill.
Sunday Dinner at its finest! Well-appointed awards for sure ❤️ The roasted beetroot salad was unique but delicious and the Picanha roast was mouthwatering and tender. This is what dream dinners are made of! We also ordered Mockapolitan and sorbets for dessert. Inviting and cozy, the atmosphere is exactly what you hope for if you want an amazing British experience. Well done team!
We absolutely loved this place, came here twice. Both times everything was great - service, food, drinks. Fish and chips - really delicious! Sticky toffee pudding is just a delight. And what generous portions! Definitely recommend this place!
