About This Pub
Ah, The Kings Head – it's one of those hidden gems in Sutton Bonington that just warms the cockles of your heart. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is spot on; folks rave about the tasty dishes that are properly done and leave you feeling chuffed. The staff really stand out too – they're dead helpful and make sure you're looked after from the get-go, which adds to that cosy, welcoming atmosphere you'd expect from a traditional pub. It's got a nice range of beers, so if you're partial to a cheeky pint, you're in for a treat. Plus, it's thoughtful touches like being accessible for wheelchairs and welcoming dogs that make it feel inclusive. On the flip side, it might not always be buzzing, especially if you pop in on a quieter day, and without a website, it's a bit of a pain to plan ahead. All in all, it's a solid choice for a laid-back evening out – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, as the positives far outweigh any minor niggles.

Welcome
Lovely little village pub great atmosphere and made very welcome. Great selection if beers. 🍻👍🏻🥳🥳
This lovely pub was a wonderful recommendation by a stranger! The food was delicious, the staff were attentive and helpful, and the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. Being a wheelchair user, it is accessible via the garden area, the staff removed a chair at the table for me, although I'm unsure about the amenities as I didn't need to use them. With that being said, I would recommend this delightful pub.
Small/medium 'locals pub', just popped in for a couple of shandies after Sutton Bonington show. Nice friendly welcome, quiet but nice atmosphere (Sunday 4.30), locals seem friendly... 😉
Didn't try the food but it looked & smelt very good...
PLUS !! We got to see the Lancaster fly-by whilst here - FAB !! (see vid)
Will return when next in the area.
Many thanks
