About This Pub
Ah, The Anchor Inn in Sutton Bonington – it's one of those cosy spots that just hits the mark for a proper pub experience. From what I've gathered from the reviews, folks absolutely rave about the beers; they're spot-on, with real ales that draw in the enthusiasts time and again. The staff are a delight, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, which really adds to that homely vibe. It's dog-friendly too, so if you're out for a walk and fancy a stop-off, it's perfect. Throw in the beer garden for sunny days, plus a pool table and darts for a bit of fun, and you've got a solid spot for unwinding. On the flip side, it's not the place for a full meal – just snacks on offer, which might leave you wanting if you're peckish for something more substantial. And being a bit off the beaten track, it might not suit everyone, especially if you're not in the area. Overall, though, with such high praise and a chilled-out atmosphere, I'd say it's well worth a visit for anyone after a genuine local pub feel, as long as you keep your expectations in check for the grub.

Operating hours seem a tad inconsistent from the info available, so it's worth double-checking before heading out.

Very nice pub with fantastic beers and lovely service 😀 👍🏻
Only stopped by for a drink post walk but seemed like a friendly local pub, also dog friendly
Lovely village pub. Great beers and nice relaxed atmosphere. Doesn't do food, which is a shame, but if you want a village local, this is the place for you!
Cracking little friendly pub, tucked out of the way in Sutton bonington. Beer garden for the summer, pool table, darts, good range of beers and spirits and bar snacks. Landlord supports Leicester City but we can't have it all can we 😉🤣👍🏻
A little Jewel of a pub. The staff are the best. Larger is always spot on. The real ale drinkers keep coming back so it must be good. Nice clean drinkers pub. Not a food pub although snacks & cobs are available. Kids & dogs welcome. 5stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
