About This Pub

Ah, The Jube – what a gem it is down in Great Yarmouth! From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really knows how to deliver a top-notch experience for anyone looking for a mix of sports, entertainment, and a proper pint. The highlights? Well, you've got loads of games on offer, like snooker and darts, which are spot on for a laugh with your group, and the karaoke nights sound like an absolute blast, especially with that huge song library. Plus, the staff come across as genuinely warm and attentive, which always makes a big difference when you're settling in for the evening. Their own brew, Jubester, gets a thumbs up too – it's one of those must-tries that adds a nice local touch. On the flip side, it's not without its little niggles; the food menu is a bit limited, so if you're hoping for a wide range of options, you might end up wanting more. And while the location is handy, some folks have mentioned it feels a tad under the radar, meaning you could miss it if you're just wandering about. Overall, though, with such glowing feedback and a solid 4.6 rating, I'd say it's well worth a visit for a balanced night out – just keep an eye on those opening times to avoid any mix-ups. It's that kind of place where the good times usually outweigh the minor downsides, leaving you with fond memories and a smile.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The Jube is a brilliant spot for a lively night with plenty of games like snooker, pool, and darts – perfect for getting competitive with your mates.
  • They've got a fantastic range of entertainment, including a karaoke studio with loads of songs, a rooftop terrace for a bit of fresh air, and even their own beer called Jubester that's a real treat.
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
  • It's well-placed in Great Yarmouth town centre, with easy access to parking, taxis, and buses, so it's super convenient for a quick getaway.
  • From the reviews, it sounds like a great venue for events and celebrations, with a large function room and good food options that keep everyone happy.
Cons
  • One or two reviews suggest it might feel a bit overlooked, like a hidden gem, so it could be easy to walk past if you're not in the know.
  • The menu is on the smaller side, which means choices are limited – lovely what they have, but you might miss out on more variety.
  • There seems to be some confusion with the opening hours listed, which could lead to a bit of disappointment if you're planning a visit and get the times wrong.
  • While most folks rave about it, that single three-star review hints at it not being perfect for everyone, perhaps if you're after something a tad more relaxed.

We travelled to the Jube to play darts for the weekend. It's not often that we go back to a darts venue in the evening for a night of Karaoke, fun and drinking. But the Jube put on entertainment for us on the evening and we had a great night and also a great weekend at the venue. Would highly recommend any other National League teams that stay over to visit the Jube in the evening. The food on offer was also very good, reasonably priced and had good portion sizes. All in all, great place

Came across this hidden gem on a recent trip to Yarmouth and it was a delightful. Incredible staff and service. The snooker hall is top class. They even have their own beer called Jubester, which is a must try for a proper pint

Our "local" when we visit Woolacombe. And we are remembered. The menu is small but absolutely lovely. The staff are friendly but very professional. Definitely worth a visit.
