About This Pub
Ah, The Jewellers Arms, what a lovely spot it is in the heart of Birmingham. I've got to say, it's one of those pubs that just warms you up from the inside out, with its fantastic range of real ales and that inviting atmosphere that feels like stepping into a proper local. The staff are an absolute delight, always on hand to chat about the brews or recommend a favourite, and the little touches like the log fire and outdoor seating really add to the charm. It's spot on for a casual pint after work or a catch-up with mates, and the traditional snacks keep things simple yet satisfying. On the flip side, if you're not into that classic pub feel, it might come across as a bit straightforward compared to flashier venues. And do keep in mind, it can get buzzing on weekends, so you might have to jostle for a table. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone after an honest, down-to-earth night out – I'd pop in without a second thought if you're in the area.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The selection of real ales is absolutely spot on – it's a proper treat for any ale enthusiast, with a great variety straight from Black Country Ales.
-
The staff are so friendly and welcoming; they make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in, always ready with a smile and helpful advice.
-
It's got that classic traditional pub atmosphere with a cosy log fire, outdoor areas, and even a function room, making it perfect for a relaxed catch-up or a lively evening.
-
The location's spot on too, just a short walk from the Jewellery Quarter station, and they've got snacks like cobs and pies that hit the spot without any fuss.
Cons
-
It might feel a tad old-school for those after something more modern or trendy, as it's very much a traditional boozer at heart.
-
On busier nights, it can get quite packed, which might make it tricky to snag a seat if you're popping in spontaneously.

Staff were lovely, all friendly and helpful when I visited last week.
Been here a few times recently. Nice traditional pub with several rooms off a central bar servery. A nice open fire was burning in the lounge and the pub was busy on a Saturday night with a friendly and welcoming crowd. I always see this as a great indication of a good pub.
The beer was really well kept with an excellent choice in addition to Black Country Ales own beers.
A nice comfy, dog friendly pub with efficient and friendly service.
No doubt we will go again.
We nearly missed this pub, thought it had vanished. Sooo glad it hasn't. Warm welcome fantastic Black Country Ales and superb food, what's not to like. It's one of those pubs when you walk in,you know it's so right. Wish there were more like this, the steak and ale pie....excellent. Fantastic way to spend a Thursday lunch, see you soon.
Such a charming traditional pub, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. They serve fresh, small-batch beers and ciders, which really adds a unique touch to the experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and always happy to assist if needed. This year’s Christmas tree was absolutely lovely and added to the festive atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to visiting this pub again!
