My partner and I went to Inn on the lake for a late lunch, there was a party booking in so they were quite busy which probably accounted for the food not being its usual standard. I ordered Pie & chips. The pie was congealed inside but edible. The service however was really good. I’ve met this young man on a few occasions that I’ve dined there. He is always cheerful and engaging. He knows the menu and goes out of his way to assist. He is definitely at asset to this business, So Hayden, thank you.
My family and I booked this venue for my late wife's wake. An ideal location. pliantly of room inside, garden space and parking.
They provided tea, coffee and a buffet. the food was Wonderfull with enough to go around for a party of 150+ people. Reasonable priced with friendly staff. very kind and caring through some difficult times.

I am very late posting my review! We held our wedding reception at the Inn on the Lake in September. Leigh and the team were fantastic prior to and during the day. They went above and beyond to ensure we all had a fantastic day. The food was so good and the location is fab. Thank you so much!
We hired the event room for our parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary. We were able to decorate how we wanted, bar a couple of fair rules (no pins/sellotape and no confetti), the staff were incredibly accommodating, polite and helpful and the atmosphere was lovely. We had a buffet meal which came out when expected and there was zero complaints about the food, which is unheard of for a group of 40 people!
I would recommend this venue to anybody looking to book a function.
First visit and won't be the last. Excellent meal with service to match. Hayden was welcoming, friendly and always there when needed. I tried the Steak and Cheddar cheese shortcrust pie and it was delicious. Rich gravy, quality meat filling with no skimping on filling.
I had to beg for a taste of the Caribbean Chicken which was also a delight.
I definitely recommend this pub for a great meal and night out.
