About This Pub
Ah, The Hyde Arms – it's one of those pubs that has a certain charm about it, tucked away on Victoria Road, where you can pop in for a quiet pint or enjoy the outdoor seating on a sunny day. I have to say, the positives really shine through in the reviews; it's clean, the drinks are affordably priced, and it's in a handy spot if you're heading to the station or catching a game at Tottenham – not too crowded, which is a bonus. But, and it's a big but, some folks have had run-ins with the staff, who can come across as downright rude or even hostile, making what should be a pleasant evening turn awkward. Still, if you're up for giving it a go, I'd suggest going when it's quieter and keeping an eye out for that friendly service – it's there sometimes, and when it is, it's genuinely lovely. Overall, it's got potential, but a bit of polishing up on the customer side would make it a real gem.
Pros and Cons

It's kept clean and welcoming, and the staff can be really friendly, making you feel right at home.
-
Drinks are reasonably priced, especially during happy hour, and it's conveniently located near Edmonton Green station and Tottenham stadium without getting too hectic on match days.
Cons
-
Some staff members, including what seems to be the owner, can be quite rude and create an uncomfortable vibe, which puts a real dampener on things.
-
There have been issues with smoking near the entrance, letting smoke drift inside and spoiling the experience.
-
A few visits have ended on a sour note due to hostile behaviour, which might leave you feeling unwelcome.

This place Abas a very rude owner. I came here today to use the toilet and was going to buy a drink after but the owner was hostile to me and my boyfriend.
Such a shame, this pub has charm, but our experience was disappointing. One of the male staff members was openly rude toward other customers, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Shockingly, he was also smoking right by the entrance of the smoking area allowing smoke to drift inside, not exactly welcoming. His lack of basic customer service was glaring. We had a couple of drinks but decided to leave and head to another pub. The toilets were also below standard, which added to the letdown. On a positive note, the lady behind the bar was friendly and professional, a rare highlight in an otherwise poor visit.
This nice pub re-opened 4 months ago. It is just over a 5 minute walk to Edmonton Green station and a 25 minute walk to Tottenham stadium (it does not get too busy on match days). They dò not have cask beer but they do have keg beer. I opted for a very reasonably priced double Jim Beam at the happy hour price of £5 (happy hour is from noon to 3pm). They have an outside seating area which is under cover. They have also 2 pool tables. They do have live events such as karaoke, live bands and a DJ. The pub has a clean modern look to it with a lot of natural light. I was here at 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon and it was very quiet. The service was excellent. It is nice to visit a reopened pub, I will return as I live nearby, I hope it is a success.
Nice clean pub friendly staff well done to everyone
