About This Pub

You know, chatting about The White Horse feels like sharing tips over a pint with mates – it's one of those pubs that really shines with its warm, inclusive vibe, where the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the crowd brings that multicultural energy that's just lovely to be around. The atmosphere is spot on, especially if you're popping in before a game or for some weekend grub, which I've heard is absolutely delicious and well worth the visit. Prices are generally fair, fitting for a casual evening, and the place is kept so tidy that you don't have to worry about anything but enjoying yourself. But, let's be honest, it's not perfect – some drinks come in a tad pricey compared to your average local, and there have been a few grumbles about service being a bit slow or inattentive when it's quiet, which could leave you waiting around. Still, with that solid 4.3 rating, it's clear the good outweighs the bad, and I'd say it's a great spot to check out if you're after a relaxed, friendly pub experience in London, just keep an eye on your tab and maybe time your visit right.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are absolutely lovely and incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
  • It's got a brilliant atmosphere, especially before a match or on weekends, with positive vibes and a real sense of community where everyone mixes like one big family.
  • Prices are generally spot on for a good night out, with some great value offers and delicious food available on the weekends.
  • The place is spotlessly clean, from the main area right down to the toilets, and they've got a nice terrace for a smoke or some fresh air.
Cons
  • Drinks can be a bit steeper than at other spots – for instance, a double vodka and diet coke might set you back more than you'd expect.
  • Service isn't always on point; some folks have had trouble getting served, even when it's not too busy, which can put a damper on things.

2nd time visit, still haven't been served. On my first visit the pub had a few people in it but the bar staff just didn't seem interested in serving me. I tried it again yesterday, the front part was empty but I could see a couple of people playing pool at the back. The barmaid saw me but just turned around. Obviously they do not need the custom so I'll go to the others locally where they seem to appreciate the business

Amazing atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, always positive vibes and good music. The only pub I have been to, where you see all kind of multicultural people as one family. The food on the weekend is absolutely delicious. Just love it ❤️
