About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Hand & Flower – it's this charming Victorian pub and hotel tucked away in Hammersmith, just a stone's throw from Olympia, and it's got that perfect blend of old-school London warmth and a bit of luxury. I love how they've nailed the basics; the beer selection is spot on with plenty of Fuller’s classics and more, and the food is genuinely delicious, whether you're grabbing a quick bite or tucking into a hearty breakfast. The staff are an absolute delight, always cheerful and ready to recommend something new, which really adds to the friendly atmosphere. Plus, if you're staying over, the rooms are a treat – clean, spacious, and surprisingly peaceful for such a central location. On the flip side, while these recent reviews are all glowing, that 4.1 overall rating hints there might be some inconsistencies, like perhaps it's not always as quiet or the prices could feel a tad steep for what you get. All in all, it's a solid choice for a pint and a chat, or even a short stay, but I'd say it's worth checking in advance to make sure it suits what you're after that day.

Accidentally came across The Hand & Flower looking for a decent pub serving good beer near my accommodation and was glad I did. Great selection of beers, food was great and thoroughly enjoyed. Staff friendly and knowledgeable, very clean venue. A great find.
Been to London many times and the rooms here are so clean, spacious and most important...quiet! The breakfast is nice too. Will definitely come back when I have to visit London for work
Fabulous room, really luxury sheets and very quiet. Lovely bathroom with a bath which was lovely to soak my feet in after a lot of walking. The breakfast was some of the best I've had. Lovely service. Amazing coffee and fresh juices. Will stay here again if we are in the area!
Stayed here for 3 weeks for the ideal home event, all rooms have been fully upgraded and freshly decorated, so has the hand and flower bar area itself down stairs, a truly authentic London hotel with great hospitality.
All of the staff here all super helpful and friendly, Tammy, Jazz, Carlos, Dave, Sasha and Elese, absolute credit to the premises.
Hotel and restaurant. And all staff behind the bar .
Stairs may be an issue if you are old like me 😂.
I would definitely recommend and will be returning.
Security doors to private hotel area, rooms are all double glazed and sash windows, so we have slept very peacefully.
Tip book later as price reduces as dates approach for some reason.
This is one of the loveliest hotels we’ve stayed. The price & quality are really good. Beautiful rooms, lovely decorated and styled- not as boring as most affordable hotels. We loved the bed, large and comfortable and the bathroom was not large, but had everything we needed (a great 🛁)
The staff is welcoming and warm. Breakfast is good, anything for anyone really! Visit the pub in the evening too; good dinners, lovely cocktails. The hotel is situated in Kensington, Hammersmith with many public transport options, so town and other important places are easy to reach from there.
We will return hopefully!
