About This Pub
Oh, what a gem The Warwick Arms is – it's one of those places that just feels like a proper local haunt, even if you're just passing through Kensington. I have to say, the Indian cuisine really steals the show; their curries are fresh, packed with flavour, and honestly, some of the best I've had in a pub setting. Pair that with a pint of their excellent ales, and you're in for a treat. The atmosphere is spot on too – traditional with that cosy real fire and outdoor seating for when the weather's playing nice. The staff are genuinely friendly, always ready with a smile and happy to recommend something from the menu. But, to keep it real, it's not all perfect; the service can drag a bit on busier nights, so if you're after something snappy, you might need to plan ahead. Still, overall, it's a fantastic spot for a relaxed evening, whether you're tucking into pub classics or venturing into their Indian offerings – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is absolutely spot on, especially their authentic North Indian curries – think tender lamb shanks and flavoursome monkfish that leave you wanting seconds.
-
Service is warm and attentive, making you feel right at home, with staff who are always up for a chat and quick to sort you out.
-
They've got a cracking selection of ales and beers, including award-winning ones that make it a proper treat for any ale enthusiast.
-
The traditional pub atmosphere is just lovely, with outside seating for a bit of fresh air and a real fire to cosy up by on chillier evenings.
-
It's in a handy spot in Kensington, near Earl's Court and Olympia, perfect for a relaxed meal or pint after exploring the area.
Cons
-
Service can be a tad slow at times, so if you're in a rush, it might not be the best choice for a quick bite.
-
While the food and drinks are generally brilliant, there might be the odd inconsistency, as some folks have mentioned not everything hits the mark every time.

The Warwick Arms is always our "Go to" venue in London for a knock out curry. The food on offer is exceptional!!! The service, friendly and attentive. We often go from Bournemouth by coach and walk the final 600 paces to this fabulous pub for an evening and return home the same night.......is it worth it?........too damn right it is!!!!!! Booking ahead is a must!!!
A nice pub, in typical English style, where one can have both English and Indian food, though. The food is quite good, the service is kind, although not super quick, and the location is nice. Good beers.
We loved this place! Fantastic spot, highly recommend. I don't understand the low ratings on here. Food and service were wonderful, portions were good and the atmosphere was perfect.

We had the most delicious curries here - tender fall off the bone EXMOOR LAMB SHANK..
ground spices, yoghurt and fresh coriander with excellent pilau rice. The monk fish curry was so flavoursome we needed a 2nd bowl of pilau rice. My Pimm’s was most enjoyable
