About This Pub
Ah, The Gunners Pub – it's one of those places that just feels like home away from home, especially if you're an Arsenal supporter. From the reviews I've had a look at, everyone raves about the lively atmosphere; it's full of energy on matchdays, where you can chat with fellow fans over a pint, and it's equally charming for live music nights. The staff really shine through, always polite and quick to sort things out, which makes for a relaxed visit. Drinks are a highlight too – think a good range of beers at fair prices for the area, paired with hearty pub food that hits the spot. And don't forget the events; they've got a solid lineup that keeps things fresh and exciting. On the flip side, it's not without its minor flaws – there was a mention of a payment mix-up in one review, but it was handled so well that it didn't spoil the experience. Plus, being a popular venue, it can get packed, so you might have to queue or plan ahead. Overall, it's a gem in North London that's worth a visit for a good night out, as long as you're up for a bit of hustle and bustle.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is absolutely buzzing, especially on matchdays – it's a proper haven for Arsenal fans with that warm, community feel that makes you want to stick around.
-
Staff are super friendly and efficient; they handle things with a smile, even when sorting out any little hiccups like payment issues.
-
Drinks selection is spot on, with a variety of draught beers and options that are reasonably priced for London, plus tasty pub grub that's hearty and satisfying.
-
They've got a great lineup of live events and music, which adds to the vibe and gives you plenty to enjoy beyond just a pint.
-
Outdoor area is a nice touch for when the weather's good, perfect for catching up with mates over a beer.
Cons
-
There might be the odd glitch with payments or services, though from what I've seen, it's quickly and kindly resolved, so it's not a deal-breaker.
-
The pub's website is mostly focused on events, which is great if you're into that, but it doesn't give much info on the day-to-day offerings, so you might need to pop in or check elsewhere for the full picture.
-
Given it's a popular spot, it can get quite busy, especially around games, which might mean waits for drinks or seats if you're not there early.

I'm Brazilian and my husband and I had the opportunity to watch the game at this pub. We felt a good vibe. It's a good place, with good drinks. Good service. We had a little problem with payment, but everything was resolved very kindly and politely. I highly recommend it.

The Gunners Pub is a fantastic spot! It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of music. The drinks menu is wide and reasonably priced for London, and the food is exactly what you want from good pub fare — tasty, hearty, and satisfying. On weekends, the vibe is especially lively. For Arsenal fans, this place holds a special charm, but even if you’re not into football, it’s still a great place to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended!
I visited The Gunners Pub twice, on matchdays! The atmosphere was great, and you could meet gooners of all generations in one place, enjoying their time and looking forward to the upcoming home game! You can order a variety of draught beer and other drinks, as well as some food. The service is fast: there are many who are at the bar and walking across the hall who are ready to take your orders and serve drinks and food. There is an open-air yard with TV screens where you can watch football. The staff is friendly, and if you are an Arsenal supporter, you would definitely feel like you're at home surrounded with brothers and sisters!
Had a great night here watching live music on a day when there wasn't an Arsenal game.
