About This Pub

Ah, Cannons The Factory on Blackstock Road – it's one of those unassuming little pubs that really grows on you, especially if you're a footy fan. From what I've seen in the reviews, it's got this genuine community spirit, perfect for Arsenal supporters looking to soak up that match-day buzz. The owner, Andy, and the team come across as proper gems, always ready with a smile and a good chat, which makes popping in for a pint feel like catching up with old mates. And speaking of pints, folks reckon they're spot on here, the best in the area, so that's a definite win if you're after a quality drink. On the downside, though, it's a compact space, so if there's a big game on, you might end up elbow-to-elbow with everyone else, struggling for a spot or even a quick serve at the bar. Plus, it's cash only and those £5 pints add up, which could put a damper on things if you're not prepared. All in all, it's a solid choice for a laid-back evening with friends, as long as you go in with realistic expectations and maybe plan ahead – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, but keep an eye on the crowds!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • It's a brilliant spot for Arsenal fans, with that authentic Gooners vibe that makes you feel right at home.
  • The staff and owner, Andy, are absolutely lovely and welcoming, always up for a chat which adds to the friendly atmosphere.
  • You can get a cracking pint here, apparently the best on Blackstock Road, which is a real treat for beer lovers.
  • The place has a warm, homely feel with cheerful faces around, making it a great spot for a relaxed catch-up with mates.
Cons
  • It's a bit on the small side, so it can get really packed, especially during matches, and you might not find a seat.
  • They only take cash, which can be a faff if you're out and about without any to hand.
  • Pints are on the pricey side at £5, which might sting a bit if you're planning a long session.
  • Service can slow down when it's busy, like during big games, so you might have to wait a while to get served.

Went here for the first time after an Arsenal match on my way to Finsbury Park. The bar is cash only and a pint is £5 which is east maths, thankfully. It’s quite a small place so there isn’t going to be seating when at full capacity but the staff are nice enough and I would go back.

Watched football here so place was cleared out to accommodate so looked basic but it was football and what else do you need, really busy and difficult to get served quickly as it has a small bar saying that the staff do a great job.
