About This Pub

Ah, The Grosvenor – what a lovely spot it is in Cleethorpes. I've got to say, it's one of those places that really knows how to make you feel welcome, with staff who go out of their way to ensure everything's just right. The food is a highlight; think juicy burgers, sizzling skillets, and even some solid vegan options that keep things interesting without skimping on flavour. It's brilliant for popping in with the family or catching up over a pint, and the prices are spot on for what you get – no nasty surprises there. They're also big on community spirit, which is always nice to see. On the flip side, it does get a bit heaving on busier nights, so you might end up queuing or feeling a tad squeezed in. And while it's comfy and reliable, it has that chain pub feel, so if you're after something super quirky or off the beaten path, it might not quite hit the mark. All in all, though, it's a solid choice for a good meal and a laugh with friends – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely delicious and comes out piping hot, with options for everyone including vegan and vegetarian dishes.
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
  • It's got a fantastic atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with family, watching sport, or just unwinding with mates.
  • Prices are honest and fair, offering great value for breakfast, lunch, or dinner without breaking the bank.
  • They're really involved in the local community, supporting charities and even offering their function area for free to groups.
Cons
  • It can get quite busy at peak times, like weekends or evenings, which might mean a wait for a table or service.
  • As a chain pub, it sometimes feels a bit standard rather than uniquely local, missing that extra touch of individuality.

My reviews are always honest and fair. Had a meal and drinks, 11 of us, and none of us could fault the food, the service, and the bar staff! Great 2 piece Take That tribute band. The atmosphere was fantastic. Although we live in New Waltham, we'll definitely be returning again...and soon! Thanks for a great night ❤️

Three of us popped in for lunch to try the new Sizzling Pub menu. I had the 11oz Pork Tomahawk and it was wonderful and a great addition the menu. The chop had been barbecued perfectly, the bone blackened but the meat really tender and succulent. The pub does warn you that this particular dish takes 30 mins but well worth the wait.

Absolute lovely place, with lovely service. Came in with family at 18.00 on a sunday reasonably busy but the service and food quality wasn’t impacted by it at all ! Food was amazing! Quick service and nice and hot. Meat was done perfectly and all plates we’re emptied. Happy to say id recommend this to everyone and would definitely comeback.
