About This Pub

Ah, The Green Tree – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem, tucked away on Cockton Hill Road. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this brilliant mix of a wide range of beers and ales that'd make any ale enthusiast smile, and they're priced just right too. The live music nights sound like a blast, adding that extra spark to the evenings, and don't even get me started on the huge beer garden; it's ideal for those rare sunny days when you fancy a pint outdoors. The staff come across as genuinely friendly and on point, always making sure you're looked after, which really makes you feel at home. On the flip side, there might be a bit of racket from the odd game like dominoes, so if you're hoping for a peaceful evening, it could be something to keep in mind. Overall, with such high ratings and positive vibes from folks who've been there, I'd say it's well worth a visit for a relaxed night out – just pop in and see what all the fuss is about!

Great atmosphere with a very friendly vibe. The bar manager was attentive bringing our Guinness to the table once fully poured. I live away from Bishop now so it was great to return to an old haunt and find it better than ever.

Decent enough pub with two separate bars and a beer garden. My only complaint was there were domino matches taking place and they don't half make a racket when they're mixing the dominoes up!

Decent choice of drinks, at good prices with great service. Great atmosphere both in the lounge and bar. All football matches covered and darts, pool table and juke box in the back bar. What more do you want from a pub 👌
