About This Pub
Ah, The Kings Head – it's one of those classic pubs that you stumble upon and think, 'This could be a new favourite.' From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff really stand out; they're top-notch, always going the extra mile to make sure everyone's sorted, even on a hectic night. It's brilliant for a casual night out – the drinks are affordable, and there's plenty to keep you entertained, whether it's sinking a few balls on the pool table, belting out tunes on karaoke nights, or catching the latest match on the TVs. The atmosphere feels genuine and relaxed, like a proper local haunt where you can just unwind with a pint. On the downside, though, the toilets are a bit of a letdown; they're not up to scratch and could really use some updating to match the rest of the place. And if you pop in during the afternoon, it might be quieter than you'd hope, so evenings are probably when it shines brightest. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good time without breaking the bank, but it's not without its flaws – still, I'd say it's worth giving it a go if you're in the area.
Pros and Cons

-
It's a budget-friendly spot with cheap drinks and a spacious layout, perfect for a relaxed catch-up with mates
-
Loads of entertainment on offer, like a pool table, jukebox, and karaoke nights, plus they show a variety of sports on the TVs to keep things lively
-
The atmosphere is spot on – it's a down-to-earth place with a nice vibe, ideal for enjoying a pint of Guinness or whatever takes your fancy
Cons
-
The toilets are in a right state and desperately need an upgrade; it's a bit off-putting and could do with some attention

It can be a tad quiet in the afternoons, so if you're after a buzzing crowd, you might find it a bit subdued at times
-
There are occasional niggles like a broken ice machine, which might spoil the experience just a little

Bit quite in afternoon, variety of sport on televisiins, firstvtime visitors, will return.
Cheap, cheerful and very spacious. Has pool table, juke box and karaoke nights. What more could you want
Nice pint of Guinness and the vibe was nice. Not from the area so don't know what the locals who come in are like but seems a good down to earth place with a good atmosphere.
Saturday 22nd May. Good night, staff fantastic even tho they were run off their feet by serving at tables only. Nothing was to much trouble for them and everything was in the guidelines of the covid rules. Well done. 👏
Staff are decent and drinks are good. Place desperately needs toilet up grade. They have got to be the worst I have ever seen. No ice as machine broken. Would go again as staff so good. Please please sort the toilets out
