About This Pub
Ah, The Granite City – it's one of those airport gems that really stands out for all the right reasons. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's a place where the food doesn't disappoint; whether it's a solid breakfast or something more substantial, folks are raving about how tasty and well-prepared it is. The staff get a big thumbs up too – they're described as friendly, helpful, and on the ball, which makes for a much more enjoyable stopover. Prices are fair for an airport setting, so you won't feel like you're being ripped off, and the atmosphere has that cosy, traditional feel that just adds to the charm. On the flip side, it's not perfect; there was one review where things went awry with the order, turning what should have been a simple meal into a bit of a letdown, so it's worth keeping an eye on that. Overall, though, if you're looking for a reliable spot to grab a bite and relax before your flight, I'd say give it a go – it's got that winning combination of good vibes and solid offerings that makes it a favourite among travellers.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food here is absolutely spot on – think delicious breakfasts and hearty meals that hit the spot, especially after a long flight.
-
Staff are a real highlight; they're super friendly and efficient, always ready with a smile and quick service to keep things moving.
-
Prices are surprisingly reasonable for an airport spot, making it a great value option without breaking the bank.
-
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a comfy, traditional vibe that makes you feel right at home, even in the hustle of the terminal.
Cons
-
There have been a few slip-ups with orders, like one instance where the food didn't match what was expected, which could leave a sour taste.
-
It's a bit of a shame that operating hours aren't clearly listed, so you might have to double-check before popping in.

Been through Aberdeen airport for work many times and every time the food is great and the staff are so so friendly. Been served by Jamie on multiple trips home now and without fail gives great prompt service so I've never been waiting around or having to find a staff member. 10/10 recommend a stop here if you find yourself at Aberdeen airport.
A much needed breakfast at the airport. Surprisingly reasonable to for an airport. They do sides/extras not displayed on the menu with no bother (I added black pudding to my Eggs Benedict). Very helpful and very pleasant.
Always 5 stars here at Granite City! Thank you Katie for fantastic service and Jamie for fantastic food.
Paid £48.50 for 3 “melting cheddar toasties, 2 hot chocolates and a pint of coke.
20 minutes later we were served with toasts drenched in bbq, 3 strands of cheddar and chicken cubes. Two ham toasties drier than a nuns convent.
The experience here was amazing. We really loved the atmosphere, it was very friendly and comfy and old style which we loved. The service was amazing, the person that served us was very friendly and helpful, smiling all the time. Food was delicious and we really enjoyed it. Definitely will be coming back whenever we depart from here in the morning as we really enjoyed the breakfast.
