About This Pub

Ah, Dyce Farm – it's one of those places that feels like a reliable old mate when you're in Aberdeen and fancy a bite. Tucked near the airport, it's got this warm, traditional Scottish charm that makes you feel right at home, whether you're grabbing a breakfast muffin before a flight or tucking into a tender roast after a long day. The carvery really steals the show; it's cheap and cheerful with massive portions that leave you stuffed and smiling, and it's available every day, which is brilliant if you're craving that Sunday roast vibe mid-week. Plus, with family-friendly touches like indoor play areas and easy parking, it's a top choice for a casual get-together. On the flip side, though, service can be a mixed bag – some staff are absolute gems, full of smiles and chat, but others might not bother checking if everything's alright, which can put a dampener on things. And while the main dishes often hit the mark, a few folks have had dodgy experiences with burgers or missing bits on their plates, so it's worth keeping expectations in check. Overall, if you're after good value and a relaxed atmosphere, I'd say give it a go, but maybe stick to the carvery for the best results – it's a solid spot that does the basics well, even if it doesn't always knock it out of the park.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The carvery is absolutely spot on – it's affordable, with massive portions that really hit the spot for a hearty meal.
  • It's got that charming traditional Scottish vibe, making it a cosy place to pop in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
  • Loads of family-friendly features like indoor play areas and disabled facilities, which make it welcoming for everyone.
  • They've got handy amenities such as free WiFi, EV charging, and a car park, so it's easy to swing by and relax.
Cons
  • Service can be a bit inconsistent; while some staff are lovely and friendly, others seem like they're just going through the motions.
  • Food quality isn't always reliable – the carvery shines, but things like burgers might fall short and leave you wanting more.
  • There have been a few slip-ups with orders, like missing extras, and not everyone checks in to see if you're enjoying your meal.

We went to have lunch. I wasn't expecting them to have a beautiful display on cakes and ice cream!!!. I had a decent plate of carvery with all the trimings and treated myslef with a nice homemade ice cream and also i bought a piece of cake. Lovely atmosphere, clean, tidy, well presented, i highly recomend this place if you are near Aberdeen airport. It's worht a visit!. I will comeback next time.

Probably the worst burger I’ve EVER had. Got the food, paid for extra bacon and cheese, did not get it. Noone came to ask how the food tasted. Finished the meal since I was dead hungry and did not want to wait for a new one. No bother, spent an hour there and no one asked me how it tasted or if all was well. Not reccomended. Never coming back. Before I left I told staff it was probably the worst burger I’ve ever had. Reply was sorry with a shoulder shake…

When you're in the mood for a Sunday roast but it's Thursday... where do you go? Dyce Farm has you covered 7 days a week. If you are looking for a cheap and cheerful, no frills restaurant that offers buffet style carvery at an affordable price then this is the place for you. It's great for all the family with its extensive menu and carvery available all day everyday, it's perfect for little children or if you are looking for a quick bite to eat without breaking the bank. Dyce Farm is a little out the way at Aberdeen Airport but with its free parking and large capacity it really is a good spot for some food!

First time at the Dyce farm restaurant. Very friendly staff. Extremely good food with massive portions. I had mixed grill it was some plate full. My wife had Hunters chicken another large plate full and very reasonably priced. We will be back.

Visited here a number of times when staying at nearby hotels. Food is cheap and decent portions, but pretty average quality. Carvery seems popular, but I've not tried it yet. Some members of staff are friendly, most don't seem to want to be there. The restaurant itself is clean and tidy, but the outside seating area is a bit of a mess. It's a popular place, but I think this is due to a lack of competition in the surrounding area.
