About This Pub
Ah, The Three Lums, what a cracking spot it is in Aberdeen! From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome – folks keep mentioning how friendly and accommodating they are, especially the manager who's always on hand to sort things out. The food's a highlight too; think hearty burgers and fish and chips that hit the spot without costing a fortune, and they've got options for veggies and vegans, which is thoughtful. It's just the place for a laid-back evening with friends or family, whether you're tucking into a meal or catching up over drinks. On the flip side, the menu's not the biggest, so if you're in the mood for something really specific, you might end up sticking to the classics. And it seems like not everyone knows about it for eating, so it can be quieter than you'd expect, which might not suit if you're after a lively crowd. All in all, though, it's a solid choice for a no-nonsense pub experience – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely brilliant and welcoming, always making you feel right at home – Phyllis in particular gets rave reviews for being so attentive.
-
The food is spot on, with tasty options like sizzling skillets and flame-grilled burgers that are generous portions and great value for money.
-
It's got a really warm and friendly atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with mates, watching the game, or enjoying a meal without any fuss.
-
Prices are honest and fair, making it an affordable spot for a night out, and they're involved in the local community, which is lovely to see.
Cons
-
The menu isn't massive, so if you're after a wide variety of choices, you might find it a bit limited compared to bigger places.
-
It doesn't seem to get as busy for meals as it could, which might make the vibe feel a tad quiet at times, even though the food's good.

Lovely little pub, shame more people don't use this more to eat. Not a massive menu but the food is good.
I love going to The Three Lums, it is such a friendly atmosphere, very welcomed by everyone, and the staff are fantastic. Phyllis the manager always seems to be there and she is always so attentive & accomodating. Food is also very good & very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.
Three lums Very friendly and helpful chap serving. He couldn't of been more accommodating. I had the old faithful beef burger and I was stuffed. My wife had the fish and chips and I had a taste and it was amazing. Will be back with friends and family.
Thank you.

The meal was plentiful and place was nice plenty of time to make decisions on what you want to eat. There was a big and varied menu to make your choice from enjoy your meal when you go definitely with a try.
Had a meal here 2/2/24 with my family and could not fault it. Welcoming atmosphere, food was excellent and hot. Quick service of food after ordering. Staff were friendly and polite, was served by Phyllis at the bar for drinks who was very professional and had a good work rapport. Will definitely be bringing my family back for another meal.
