About This Pub
Ah, The Gosta Green in Birmingham – what a gem for anyone fancying a relaxed pint or a lively night out. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really shines with its welcoming staff who go the extra mile to make sure you're looked after, like those servers who keep the drinks flowing during a bottomless brunch. It's brilliant for catching the big games on that massive screen, and the atmosphere gets you right in the thick of it, whether it's football or rugby. The food's generally a hit, served up quickly with plenty of choices, and there's always something fun on offer, like a game of pool or darts to keep things entertaining. That recent refurb has given it a fresh, inviting look too, which is just lovely for popping in after a long day. On the flip side, though, the grub isn't always top-notch; it can feel a tad average compared to the rest of the experience, so you might want to manage your expectations there. Overall, it's an inexpensive spot that's perfect for students or groups, with great deals on cocktails and events, but do check those opening hours if you're planning a late one. I'd say it's well worth a visit for a balanced night out – the good bits far outweigh the minor niggles, and you'll likely leave with a smile.

-
It's had a fresh refurbishment, so the place looks smashing and feels welcoming, especially after their recent reopening.
Cons
-
The food can be a bit hit or miss; one visit might leave you wanting more, as it didn't quite live up to the lively vibe in some cases.
-
Opening times are fairly standard, so if you're after a late-night spot, it might close up earlier than you'd hope on quieter days.

Went for a bottomless brunch, great atmosphere and food was quickly served. But wanted to give a big shout out the the servers - especially Macie who made sure our pitchers were always full.
Costa Coffee on Aston Street, adjacent to Aston University, is a convenient and go-to spot for a quick break. The atmosphere is relaxing, the service is friendly, and the pizza was awesome!
Popped in for the reopening after their refurbishment. WOW! The place looks amazing, completely brand new.
The mega screen amazing to watch the football on!!!!!
go to gosta all the time as a uni student and we love it here. the service is great and friendly. today Roy served us and was very nice and accommodating. the food is lovely! and a big menu to choose from. My friends and I love the pool tables and darts as a bit of fun! and they have a big lovely pub garden which is great when the suns out. definitely recommend.
Nice pub, close to the Aston University campus. We dropped by for early lunch during our short stay in Birmingham. The pub looks great, with all the TV screens on the walls and tables, so definitely this is the place to watch sports events and have some drinks. Food, on the other hand, was quite alright but nothing special. All in all, a good pub.
