They've got this brilliant range of drinks – think top-notch beers, ciders, and spirits – all at prices that feel like a proper bargain, especially when you hear about deals like a double vodka coke for £3.50. The atmosphere is spot on too; it's warm and cosy, with live music nights that bring in a real community feel, almost like you're in a traditional Irish pub. Derek and his family behind the bar are just brilliant, always up for a chat and making everyone feel welcome. On the flip side, though, the car park can be a right pain to navigate – you might spend a minute or two figuring out the way in. Plus, with hours kicking off around teatime and wrapping up by 11, it's not ideal if you're after an early session, and their online presence is a bit dodgy, so you'd best check elsewhere for updates. All in all, it's a gem worth seeking out if you're in the area, but go in with those little niggles in mind for a balanced pint or two.
