About This Pub
You know, when I think about The Frame Breakers, it just feels like that reliable local spot you'd want to chat about over a pint with mates. It's got this lovely history, starting life as the Bricklayer's Arms and evolving into a proper traditional pub with a focus on quality beer and standout food from their Smashed Kitchen – think massive portions that could easily turn into a feast. The staff are an absolute delight, always cheerful and on hand to make your visit memorable, whether you're there for a quiet drink or celebrating something special. They've got a brilliant lineup of events too, like live music on certain Saturdays, happy hours for a cheeky discount midweek, and even a quiz night that pairs perfectly with their grub. It's all set in a cosy village location south of Nottingham, which adds to the charm, but I have to say, it does fill up quickly on busier nights, so you might need to plan around that. On the whole, it's a cracking place that does the simple things right, and I'd reckon it's well worth seeking out for a relaxed evening – just go with an open mind and you'll likely leave with a smile.
