About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Foundry Collective – it's turned into such a lovely spot in North Acton since the new owners took over. From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, the food is a real standout; think hearty, flavoursome dishes like hummus and burgers that taste homemade and come in portions that'll keep you going back for more. The drinks are spot on too, with reasonably priced options like mocktails and espresso martinis that make it easy on the wallet. The vibe's warm and inviting now, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home, and little extras like the clean facilities and a quirky shop add a nice touch. On the flip side, it's a shame it's not open every day of the week, so you might have to plan around that, and while the food and drinks shine, some events can fall flat, plus no hot drinks in the evening might leave you wanting if you're after something comforting to end the night. All in all, it's a great little pub for a casual get-together, and I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area – just keep those minor niggles in mind for a smoother experience.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is absolutely delicious and feels like proper home-cooked meals, with generous portions that leave you satisfied – think tasty hummus, mutabbal, and burgers that hit the spot.
-
Prices are really reasonable, making it a brilliant spot for a budget-friendly night out without skimping on quality.
-
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, especially since the new ownership has given the place a fresh, cosy feel that's perfect for a relaxed catch-up.
-
Staff are lovely and attentive, adding to that friendly vibe, and the clean bathrooms and quirky little shop with art make it feel like a hidden gem.
Cons
-
It's only open five days a week, which might be a bit of a nuisance if you're planning a spontaneous weekend visit.
-
Some events held there haven't lived up to expectations, so it's worth checking what's on before you go.
-
They don't serve hot drinks in the evenings, which could be a downer if you're after a warming cuppa after dinner.

Went to the restaurant bit, "Munch by Modos." We ordered hummus, mutabbal, kibbeh bites, and the little pastries to share - and then a burger each. Our food was so delicious, the portions are so generous as well. Really is home cooked food. Next time I will try the plat de jours.
The event I was here for wasn't great but that is not the fault of the space. The food was so so good, unexpectedly good! Wish they still served hot drinks in the evening but the mocktails were great. Vibey place, clean bathrooms, lovely staff.
Absolutely wonderful experience at The Foundry! Now under new ownership, it is like a completely different place.
The food by Modo’s is outstanding, with some absolutely delicious choices. Highly recommend the tabbolueh and the burger.
Drinks are also very reasonably priced. Their espresso martini in particular is delicious.
We were there on Jazz night (Tuesdays) and the atmosphere was so chilled out. By far the best local in North Acton!
So much nicer after the reopening! The space feels a lot warmer and more welcoming, and we were very happy with the food and coffee. Not expensive either. The little shop is a nice touch too and has some lovely quirky art.
Best local pub at North Acton. Good prices. We have waited for this place to open for soo long. Halloween is coming.🎃👻
