About This Pub

Ah, the Grand Junction Arms – what a gem it is, tucked away by the canal in North West London. I have to say, it's one of those places that just draws you in with its vibrant energy and that massive beer garden, which is hands down one of the best spots for a relaxed afternoon with mates, especially when the sun's out. The food really steals the show too; their burgers from the shack are absolute belters, and the Sunday roasts are just the ticket for a proper hearty meal. Plus, the staff are an absolute delight – always on hand with a friendly chat and some solid recommendations, making you feel right at home. It's brilliant for catching live sports or popping in for an event, which keeps things lively without being overwhelming. On the downside, though, it does get mobbed on busy days, so you might end up queuing for a bit or struggling to find a seat. And with the prices sitting at moderate, it could sting a little if you're after something more budget-friendly. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good time by the water, but I'd suggest checking the timings first to avoid any surprises – it's got that perfect mix of charm and cheer that makes it worth the visit.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The location by the Grand Union Canal is an absolute winner, with a massive beer garden that's perfect for chilling out and enjoying the vibes on a sunny day.
  • The food is spot on – think mouthwatering burgers from their own shack and cracking Sunday roasts that really hit the spot after a long walk.
  • Staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, always ready with a smile and some local tips to make your visit even better.
  • It's a buzzing spot for live sports and events, so there's always something going on to keep things lively and fun.
Cons
  • It can get pretty packed during events or sunny weekends, which might mean a wait for a table or a bit of a squeeze.
  • With moderate prices, it might feel a tad pricey for a casual pint if you're watching the pennies.
  • The varying opening hours could catch you out if you're not checking in advance, so it's worth planning ahead.

We were just in London for the day and colleagues recommended the Grand Junction Arms. The layout is excellent and opens out to heated outdoor seating next to canal. Cool décor, spacious and they seem to have events most evenings. Food choice excellent and wide ranging. Staff very accommodating to managing 14 people and their food requests. I only wish it was my local :D

This place is a gem in NW10. I only first visited a couple of months ago and will always pop in here over most meeting points. The staff are great and in particular ‘Dre’ who is an excellent assistant manager and has time for everyone. A genuine and decent man, along with great staff and canal location. This is the spot 🍻🍻

We hired the function room for a Christening party and had the best time! Not only is the pub beautiful and in a wonderful location on the canal with various outdoor spaces to sit and relax, they have hired the absolute best staff. Everyone was so attentive, helpful, professional, but most importantly HAPPY. Food was also DELISH! I can't wait to come back. Thank you everyone!!

Had a lovely lunch in a fabulous location. Situated right by the canal. Great for families. We were served by Sarah who had lots of local information and knowledge. She knew the menu and could guide us through. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return. Many thanks

Had a great time here on Sunday. Food was great. What made me and my wife's experience was the lovely barman called Harvey. This was our first time to the UK, and we loved his British charm and great service. Would reccomend this place to any Americans looking for a great UK pub experience with sports! Picture is of my rum and coke.
