About This Pub

Ah, The Station House – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in West London, with its newly done-up ground floor and that upstairs dining room complete with a balcony for a bit of fresh air. I've got to say, the pizzas are a standout; they're fresh, packed with flavour, and from what I've heard from folks, they're the real draw, especially with those Italian influences shining through. The staff are an absolute delight, always on hand to make sure you're sorted, even when things get busy, which is a nice touch for a relaxed evening out. It's fantastic for sports fans too, with live games on big screens in the beer garden – you won't miss a kick! On the flip side, though, some have mentioned the roasts can be a bit on the skimpy side, and if you're aiming for a late dinner, the kitchen might call it a night earlier than you'd hope, so it's worth planning ahead. Overall, it's a solid choice for a pint and a chat, or a meal with mates, as long as you go in knowing the pizzas are where it truly excels – I'd pop in again in a heartbeat for that alone.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The pizzas are absolutely spot on – fresh, delicious, and a real highlight for anyone popping in for a bite.
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always making you feel welcome and sorting out any issues with a smile.
  • It's a brilliant spot for catching live sports on big HD screens, especially in the beer garden, with all the major leagues covered.
  • The pub has a lovely vibe with a rooftop and garden area, perfect for a relaxed afternoon or evening out.
  • Sunday roasts can be a winner, with some raving about them as the best they've had, adding a nice traditional touch to the menu.
Cons
  • Portion sizes on some dishes, like the roasts, might leave you wanting a bit more – one mate mentioned it was the smallest they'd seen.
  • If you're running late, the kitchen can close earlier than expected, which might cut short your dining plans.
  • While the pizzas steal the show, other offerings like the roasts don't always live up to the hype for everyone.

Tonight I was here with a group of friends even if we were late they accepted our order, it was really busy and they got one pizza missing in the big order; after that kitchen was already closed 30mijs earlier but they still kindly offered to make what’s was missing to not leave me disappointed. This is what I call kindness and professionalism. The pizza was great and I remembered from 6 years ago. It’s still very good! Highly recommended

I’ve been going to a lot of pubs for Sunday Roast at the moment. This one was pleasant enough, but I feel that that their speciality is pizza. The three chefs were Italians and the pizzas looked very good. However, I had rosemary half chicken Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding and some vegetables. The gravy was great but I didn’t like the chicken. Side vegetables were carrots, potatoes, and cabbage. Lively atmosphere that suits families, group of friends or couples. Great service also.

We were late and hungry. Unfortunately, the roasts didn't hit the mark. One even commented, 'That's the smallest roast I have ever seen'. The pizza did look amazing. Next time, we will have to give that a go. Overall, the service and staff were helpful and responsive. Good place to grab a drink.
