About This Pub
Ah, The Flint Cottage – it's one of those spots that really pulls you in with its warm, inviting feel, especially if you're after a good meal and a chat with friends. I mean, the food is a real highlight; those chicken wings and pizzas are just bursting with flavour, and it's easy to see why folks rave about them. The garden and beer garden are gems too, perfect for a lazy afternoon or an evening get-together, and they've kept things tidy with measures like social distancing that make you feel looked after. Plus, there are always events popping up to keep the energy high. But, on the flip side, it's not all smooth sailing – some staff can be a bit offhand or slow to help, which might leave you frustrated, especially if you're hankering for a proper pint of ale and find the options lacking. And let's not forget, the garden can look a tad neglected at times, which is a shame. All in all, it's a solid choice for a night out if you focus on the positives, but it's worth going in with your eyes open to avoid any disappointments.

Very disappointing. No decent ales, the staff want to do anything but serve people and why don't they cut the grass in the garden or get a gardener, what a mess! Needless to say l won't be going back.
Really disappointed with this place. The guy serving was really miserable and pretty rude. When the food came out, instead of bringing us cutlery to eat, we asked for cutlery but he decided to serve people at the bar first so we sat with food and we're unable to eat it. Then when we tried the food, it was horrible. The chicken was burnt, a lot of the chips weren't cooked and I'm not sure what was on the corn but it wasn't good. Would not recommend this place.
Flint Cottage is amazing! The 30 chicken wings are a must-try – full of flavor and perfect for sharing. The pizza is just as incredible, with a crispy crust and delicious toppings. Great atmosphere and friendly staff make it the perfect spot for a meal or night out. Highly recommend!
Stonking time at the Flint Cottage! Great atmosphere, loads of fab events coming up, great food, friendly staff, clean bar and a beautiful garden... what more could you want?! So glad this is my local!
This pub has a huge beer garden, a lovely interior, and comprehensive social distancing measures in place. You sign in with the covid app and place your orders and pay via your smart phone. They have a range of snacks and food. However, proper bitter sadly lacking!
