About This Pub
Ah, The Drayton Park – it's one of those neighbourhood spots that really grows on you if you're after a relaxed pint and a good natter. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are the real stars here; folks like Juliano, Robbi, and Danny go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, turning what could be a simple visit into something more like catching up with friends. The refurb has given it a clean, inviting look with nice details like stained glass and solid wood, and it's got that classic community pub charm that's hard to beat for a casual evening. On the downside, though, it does feel a bit plain in places – almost like they've played it safe rather than adding real personality – and some have mentioned the beers are just your standard fare with service that isn't always as engaging. Plus, it's a pity about the maintenance issues cropping up so quickly, which might put a dampener on things if you're planning a longer stay. All in all, it's a solid choice for a low-key night out, especially if you're local, but it might not blow your socks off if you're seeking something more unique or polished.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely brilliant and make you feel right at home – it's like chatting with old mates behind the bar.
-
It's got a cozy, community vibe that's perfect for unwinding after a long day, with that authentic London pub feel.
-
The interior is clean and has some lovely touches, like stained glass and hard wood, making it a hidden gem in the area.
Cons
-
It can feel a bit basic and lacking in character, especially after the refurb, which didn't quite live up to expectations.
-
Service might be a tad nonchalant at times, with standard beers on tap that don't stand out much.
-
There are already some maintenance niggles, like the toilets being in disrepair less than a year on, which is a shame.

Basic pub, plain interior, new wood throughout so lacks any sort of character. Standard beers on tap served by nonchalant staff. Bit disappointing after it's recent refurb, obvs done on the cheap (toilets already in disrepair after less than a year open). But glad it's reopened as a pub after a few years closed.
What a cool spot to check out! Great vibe and so clean ! It’s absolutely stunning inside with stained glass and all hard wood that really make you feel like you’ve walked into a hidden gem. The service was above and beyond as well ! Robby and Juliano make you feel just like family from the second you walk in the door. You’ll never be waiting long for a pint or bevy, their team is so fast -even on match days with a full bar ! Im so impressed with the people and the place, whether you come in alone or bring all your friends it is a fun filled night ! It’s conveniently located right across from arsenal stadium and watching a match in the pub is just as much fun as watching in the stadium ! Next time you’re near the area I highly recommend stopping in.
Great Pub with amazing bar people with Juliano at the head. He has truly turned the place into a cozy place to be after a long day. Robbi and Danny behind the bar are very skilled with drinks and always nice to have a chat. Best pub in North London
Best experience. Staff so welcoming and making your day much better! Best pub ever in London!

This pub has just had a complete refit - and what a wonderful job they’ve done. The attention to detail and authenticity in the fixtures & fittings is outstanding, but it’s still a classic London boozer and community pub at heart - with all the atmosphere of a friendly local. It’s not been turned into yet another restaurant with beer taps!
It’s also worth noting that The Drayton Park is now an Arsenal home pub when there are games in at The Emirates - and it’s probably the nicest “boozer” near Arsenal. There’s even a giant mural of Granit Xhaka in the garden! Please do visit this pub if you are in the area, it’s been a long time coming but was well worth the wait.
