About This Pub
Ah, The Dragon – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local hideaway in the heart of Nottingham. You know, the kind of place where you can settle in with a pint of excellent Guinness or one of their cracking real ales and really unwind. The staff are absolute gems, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, which really adds to the cosy atmosphere. I love how they've got multiple levels with loads of seating, plus that cute beer garden out back for when you fancy a bit of fresh air. And let's not forget the fun side – DJ nights on Thursdays through Saturdays get the energy buzzing, and the Scalextric setup sounds like a blast for groups looking to liven things up. On the flip side, it might give off a slightly off-putting first impression from the outside, and it's a bit of a letdown if you can't get into the Scalextric room when you want to. Plus, with doors not opening until 2pm, it's not ideal for a lazy lunch session. All in all, though, it's a solid spot for catching up with mates over a drink or two, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're after that perfect balance of relaxation and a good time.

Although it might scare you at the first glance, it's the least beautiful combo of cosy, reflecting you're vibe. Five 5 star's 🤯

Top pub in central Nottingham.
Has three levels.
Top and friendly staff.
There is a cute beer garden at the back which is ace.
Seating throughout.
At weekends they do dj vinyl nights which we came too.
Local.and non local got on really well and it was amazing fun.
Nice rolls behind the bar.
This well worth checking out for a traditional pub with some nice touches
Contender for the best pub in Nottingham. Small, but intimate. One of the few places I can find bottles of Brooklyn Lager. Excellent Guinness. They also sell cobs on the bar for a quick snack.
A great small pub on many levels. Plenty of seating. For cask ales when I visited with a good range for a wide palette. I particularly enjoyed the Drakes Duck.
Really what a great pub would be. Light music equals could chat. Brilliant!
Lovely city centre pub with a large scaletrix set up. You can hire this room out. Unfortunately on my visit the barman didn’t have a key for the room as I did ask if I could have a look! Barman was very friendly though. Four ales on along with the usual selection. Lovely upstairs outside seating area which really makes it in my opinion. Recommended 🍻🏎️
