About This Pub

Ah, The Stage Pub, it's one of those places in Nottingham that just hits the right note for a proper pub experience. From what folks are saying, it's got this fantastic atmosphere that's all about good times and friendly chats – whether you're popping in for a few drinks after work or getting stuck into the karaoke on a Thursday night. The staff really shine through; they're attentive, quick with a smile, and handle things like lost items with real integrity, which is heartening to hear. On the drinks front, there's a nice variety, and it's a comfortable setup for watching the footie or just unwinding. That said, it's a shame the website's not up and running, as it could make planning a visit easier, and the operating hours do look a bit muddled, so you might want to double-check before you go. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for anyone after a genuine, enjoyable night out without any pretences – I'd say give it a try if you're in the area!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The atmosphere is absolutely spot on – it's warm, friendly, and perfect for a good laugh with mates, whether you're there for a quiet pint or joining in with the karaoke.
  • Service is top-notch; the bar staff are brilliant and really make you feel welcome, plus they've got a great selection of drinks to choose from.
  • It's got some lovely touches, like that cool room near the bathrooms that adds a bit of character, and it's a decent spot to catch a football match.
  • The team here are honest and helpful – stories of lost items being returned really show they're looking out for everyone.
Cons
  • The website's offline, which makes it a bit of a faff if you're trying to check opening times or menus before heading out.
  • Operating hours seem a tad confusing from what I've seen, with some early closes listed, though it sounds like it's buzzing late into the night based on the vibes from visitors.

I Went in there last week and I haven’t been there for ages. Well, it certainly didn’t disappoint! It was a Thursday night and also had karaoke on. It had such a friendly atmosphere and I even sang a song myself! The barman behind the bar was brilliant and the Dj was excellent too. I’ll definitely be back! 👍🏼

I lost my purse in this pub on a night out and the landlord contacted me the next day on Facebook to let me know. I got my purse back and everything in it including the cash. Great atmosphere in the pub too. Thank you to the landlord Rich. There is still decent, honest people out there 😊

Nice place. I love that there's a cool room by the bathroom. Like from a mob movie. Not a bad cider, you can watch a soccer game comfortably.
