About This Pub

Ah, The Crown – it's one of those pubs that just warms your heart the moment you step in. I've got to say, the staff really shine here; they're so attentive and helpful, like when they patiently sort out food choices for allergies or recommend a cracking glass of wine. The grub is another highlight – think proper pub favourites and seasonal treats that arrive piping hot and full of flavour, making it a go-to for a satisfying meal. That beer garden by the river is an absolute gem, especially on a sunny day, and it's super welcoming for dogs and families alike after a wander along the Lea. On the flip side, if you're a die-hard ale fan, you might find the options a bit limited, and the prices are on the moderate side, so it could add up if you're popping in regularly. All in all, it's a smashing spot for a catch-up or a leisurely day out, with that historic charm and cosy fires making it feel like a proper home away from home – I'd definitely recommend giving it a try for a balanced mix of good times and great value.

We had a lovely time in the garden, watching the boats go past. Food was good and came fast.

We regularly stop here as part of our cycle rides around the Lee Valley. Staff are always welcoming, professional and food is of a high quality. Didn’t eat today but have done so regularly and had a great Christmas Day meal here last year with family. This Rose wine was recommended to us today by the bar staff and it certainly hits the spot! Beautiful location as well. A lovely way to spend a weekend afternoon.

The team really looked after us. Kirsty was super patient helping my wife Natasha with food choices to fit with her allergies. Lily was lovely also. Food perfect! We will be back as it was just so good.

Situated in the northern part of the Lea Valley Regional Park this is a good stop before nearby Broxbourne train station. We love how dog friendly this place is and there is a huge beer garden right by the River Lea. I wish there would have been a few more Ales on tap though.
