About This Pub
Ah, The Crooked Billet—it's one of those classic London pubs that really knows how to bring people together. I've got to say, the friendly atmosphere stands out; the staff and regulars make it feel like you're catching up with pals rather than just popping in for a drink. They're ace at hosting events too, with a spacious function room that's been a hit for birthdays and parties—folks have raved about getting it for free and having full access to make memories. The live karaoke on Fridays is an absolute highlight; it's energetic and inclusive, getting everyone singing along and having a laugh. Plus, it's great that they cater to families and dogs, as long as things are kept in check, which adds to the community feel. On the flip side, it can seem a bit daunting when you first step inside, especially if it's your first time, and with an overall rating of 3.8, there might be the odd evening when it's a tad rowdy or not quite hitting the mark. Still, for a solid night out with drinks deals, sports on the telly, and a welcoming crowd, it's definitely worth a visit—give it a go and see for yourself!

Live entertainment like karaoke on Fridays is a blast—full of energy and passion that gets everyone involved and lifts the spirits.
-
It's super welcoming for families and dogs, as long as they're kept under control, so you can pop in with the little ones or your furry friend for a relaxed vibe.
-
Loads of great drink offers and a solid selection of real ale, plus they show all the big sports events on HD screens, making it a top spot for match days.
Cons
-
It might feel a tad intimidating at first glance, especially if you're new to the area, as one person mentioned it being a bit 'scary' walking in—though once you're inside, it's welcoming.
-
The overall rating sits at 3.8, suggesting there could be some off days or mixed experiences that aren't captured in the latest reviews, perhaps with noise or crowds during busy events.
-
While it's family-friendly, there are strict rules about supervising children and keeping dogs on leads, which might not suit everyone looking for a completely laid-back outing.

Good Craft Union pub, large function room out the back, friendly locals celebrating the Crystal Palace FA Cup Final win.
Pure class. Propper pub. Bit scary walking in at first but well worth the he plunge.
Absolute brilliant. I go here for the Karaoke on a Friday night and the place is amazing. The staff and people are really friendly and the guy who runs the karaoke has so much energy and passion for what he does, it rubs off on everyone there.
We were kindly allowed to have the back room/hall free of charge for our son’s 1st birthday. The hall was really spacious and we was allowed full exclusive access and to set up anything we wanted to make it special. The manager/ owner was a lovely man, always checking in if ebehrbting okay and if we needed anything- he even let us put the football on the tv in the back room. Thank you so much ! great service!
We rented out the hall for our daughter's 13th birthday party... The management was totally accomodating allowing us to put up a bouncy castle and answering any question we had. I would wholeheartedly recommend the use of this space to anyone looking to create a bit if magic for a children's party. 10/10 for the total experience from beginning to end.
