About This Pub

Ah, The Cottage Spring – it's one of those pubs that really pulls you in with its friendly charm and down-to-earth feel, tucked away in West Bromwich. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the owners go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, which is just lovely for building a proper community spot. We've got stories of great birthday bashes with cracking music and top-notch beer that keeps folks coming back for more. It's got that 4.2 rating, which says it's generally a hit, and the reviews paint it as a fun, relaxed place where you can let your hair down. On the flip side, there are a couple of tales that are a bit out there – like some impromptu antics that might catch you off guard and not quite suit all tastes – so it's worth going in with an open mind. Overall, if you're after a solid local for a pint and a chat, it's got plenty going for it, but do keep in mind it might not be buzzing with the latest updates since things have been quiet online. I'd say give it a try if you're in the area; it's got heart, even if it's not perfect.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
  • It's a brilliant spot for hosting events like birthday parties, with a lively atmosphere and even some fun music to keep things upbeat.
  • The beer is always spot on, and regulars seem to love the personal touch from the owners, turning casual visits into proper social occasions.
Cons
  • There have been a few quirky moments, like unexpected entertainment that might raise an eyebrow or two and isn't for everyone.
  • Reviews are a bit thin on the ground lately, with the most recent ones from over a year ago, so it's hard to gauge if things have stayed the same.
  • No website or online info makes it tricky to check out what's on offer before heading down, and the place seems a tad under the radar.

Bostin pub, D.J wasn't up to much swapped him through the day music got much better, unfortunately the pub doesn't have any special measures for people who have/or are to appear on Jeremy Kyle, the chairs are far close together for any of that nonsense grey peas and bacon are the bees knees thou, although we don't get them very often

Thankyou Sam & George for letting us host Isabellas birthday party at your pub! It was just what Isabella asked for and she had a great time at her party. The beer is always lovely and George did a great job as a DJ playing all the songs that our guests asked for! We love visiting you lot and will continue to do so. Thankyou once again xx
