About This Pub
Ah, The Combermere Arms – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Wolverhampton, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the place really shines with its friendly staff and that inviting atmosphere, whether you're popping in for a quick pint or settling in for the evening. The cask beers are spot on, and those home-made rolls sound like a treat, especially if you're gearing up for a match at Molineux. The beer garden's a lovely spot for a chat outdoors, and it's brilliant that they welcome dogs, making it family-friendly in the broadest sense. On the flip side, the opening times can be a tad muddled, so you might want to double-check before you go, and their website's not always up to scratch, which is a shame as it could make planning a visit easier. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed drink, and with such positive vibes from visitors, I'd say it's well worth seeking out for a bit of that traditional pub charm.
Pros and Cons

-
They've got a fantastic selection of cask beers and home-made rolls that are just tip-top, perfect for a pre-match pint or a relaxed afternoon.
-
The beer garden and outdoor seating area are brilliant, especially on a sunny day, and it's great that dogs are welcome too.
-
It's an away fan-friendly place with multiple rooms and cosy lounges, including fires in the winter, making it ideal for a proper old-fashioned pub experience.
Cons
-
The operating hours seem a bit confusing and inconsistent from what I've seen, which might leave you scratching your head about when it's actually open.
-
Their online presence isn't the strongest, with some issues accessing the website, so it could be tricky to get the latest info before heading out.

Great little place with a nice atmosphere. The beer garden round the back is really good.
Brilliant pub for a pre match drink. Home made rolls are tip top. Away fan friendly.
Excellent pub about twenty minutes walk from Wolverhampton Railway Station. Five cask beers on handpump when I visited including a mild.
The pub has three separate rooms and lots of outdoor seating at the rear. Busy but not impossibly so before the Spurs game at Molineux. Interesting tree in the gents!

We stopped off in here for a quick pint. Good old fashioned boozer. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Classic cosy lounges, especially with the fire on in both rooms.
