About This Pub

You know, when I think about The Colliers Arms, it just brings a smile to my face – it's one of those pubs that really gets it right for a good night out or a casual stop-in. The friendly staff and locals make it feel like you're catching up with old mates, and the food is something else entirely; I mean, having a roast on offer every single day is brilliant, with plenty of options that are cooked to perfection and won't break the bank. It's great for all sorts of occasions, whether you're nipping in for a quick pint of excellent real ale after a long day or joining in on a quiz night for some fun. On the flip side, it's a tad frustrating that there's no website to peek at the menu beforehand, so you might end up winging it, and while the reviews are mostly rave ones, that 4.6 rating suggests there could be the occasional hiccup. All in all, if you're in the Walsall area and fancy a pub that delivers on both grub and good times, I'd say give The Colliers Arms a go – it's a real gem that balances tradition with a welcoming touch.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff and locals are incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
  • The food is absolutely spot on – think superb roasts every day of the week, with plenty of choice on the menu that hits the mark every time.
  • They've got a great selection of real ale that's spot on for a proper pint after work or during a casual lunch.
  • It's versatile for all sorts of visits, whether you're up for a quiz night, a quick social catch-up, or just popping in for a relaxed meal.
  • With its inexpensive prices, it's a wallet-friendly spot that doesn't skimp on quality, and it's open every day from midday till midnight.
Cons
  • There's no website listed, which makes it a bit tricky to check the menu or get more details before heading over.
  • Based on the reviews, it seems like a solid local favourite, but with an overall rating of 4.6, there might be the odd off day that isn't captured in the glowing feedback we've seen.
