About This Pub
Ah, The Coburg – it's one of those pubs that just wraps you up in its charm the moment you step inside. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks absolutely love the welcoming staff who go out of their way to make everyone feel at ease, like you're chatting with old mates behind the bar. The atmosphere is spot on too, with cosy nooks and interesting decor that gives it a real sense of history, making it a great spot for a quiet drink or even livening up on match days. The beer selection is spot on and won't set you back much, which is always a win in my book. On the flip side, it can be a bit on the quiet side sometimes, even when you'd hope for a bit more energy, and without a website, it's tricky to plan ahead or get the latest on what's on offer. Still, overall, it's a solid choice if you're after a relaxed pint in Liverpool – honest, it's got that community spirit that keeps you coming back for more.

Cons

It can sometimes feel a bit quiet, even on what you'd expect to be busy nights, which might not suit those after a lively buzz.

My son and I went into the Coburg Sunday just before the start of the Liverpool game after driving 6 1/2 hours from Kent. What a smashing bunch of people in the lounge bar, they truly made us feel welcome. Service with a smile from the bar staff also. I would highly recommend.
Nice pub with great character and wide selection of beers👍🍺
Great atmosphere and the decor around the Coburg is cosy and interesting, I’ve been a good amount of times and any who comes in are friendly and talkative which is nice for a Pub, drinks are a fair price and there’s outdoor seating, staff are nice and can be talkative too, good for a match day to sit and watch with someone.
My grandfather and his parents lived nearby and must have drank regularly in here. A very poignant occasion being here.
Great pint, was pretty empty for a Saturday night, though I've not been out for 18months so not sure what it was like before c19.
