About This Pub
Ah, the Baltic Fleet – it's one of those timeless spots in Liverpool that just warms your heart the moment you step inside. From what I've gathered from folks who've been there, the beer selection is spot on, with plenty of choices to suit all tastes, and it's clear why it's such a hit for a relaxed pint. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and the atmosphere is spot on, whether you're chatting away in the cosy interior by the log burner on a chilly evening or catching some rays on the terrace during the summer months. Being right near the docks, it's got that genuine historical feel that's hard to beat, making it a proper gem for anyone wanting a taste of old-school Liverpool. That said, it's worth noting the building's a tad worn on the outside, so don't let that put you off, and if you're hoping for more than just drinks and light refreshments, you might find it a bit limited. All in all, it's a cracking place for good company and a well-poured drink, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The beer selection is absolutely top-notch, with a fantastic variety including unique ones like chocolate brownie stout that really hit the spot.
-
The atmosphere is just lovely – it's cozy and welcoming, perfect for warming up by the log burner in winter or enjoying a sunny terrace in summer.
-
The staff are super friendly and provide great service, making everyone feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
-
It's got that authentic historical charm as a grade II listed building, steeped in over 170 years of tradition near the Liverpool docks.
Cons
-
The outside of the building can look a bit weathered, which might not grab your attention straight away.
-
It seems more focused on drinks than a full meal, so if you're after hearty food options, you might need to head elsewhere.

We were first in at 12.00 on a Saturday. A great pint of chocolate brownie stout and a piano just asking to be played. I guess the atmosphere was down to my impromptu 5 song set...
One of my favorite pubs in Liverpool a very good selection of beers and good friendly staff
A stunning location, great atmosphere. Great beer selection, friendly staff & great regular customers. Highly recommend!
Traditional but unique pub as a stand-alone building in the Albert Dock area or really closer to the Baltic Triangle neighborhood. A bit weathered on the outside but the interior was cozy, which is just what I needed with the wind whipping as I walked to the hostel nearby. Tons of draft options and four cask handles. Crowd was a good mix and it was busy for a Saturday night but not overcrowded. Nice.
This is one of my favorite pubs in Liverpool. I first visited this pub back in 2008. It has changed a lot since then. Great atmosphere and service. Located across from the Liverpool docks. They have a good selection of beer, wine and spirits. Loved the Guinness. It is a short walk from the Hilton Hotel where we were staying this past weekend for the Liverpool Legends Match. They have seating inside and outside. Very clean pub.
