About This Pub

Ah, The Coble Inn – what a lovely little find in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea! From what I've gathered from folks' chats online, it's got this really welcoming feel that makes you want to settle in for the afternoon. The staff are absolute stars, always up for a natter and going the extra mile, like fussing over dogs with treats, which is just brilliant if you're out with your furry mate. That jukebox adds a nice touch too, playing tunes that keep the energy up without drowning out conversations. It's got heaps of seating inside and out, perfect for soaking up the seaside vibes with a coffee or a pint. On the flip side, it's a tad disappointing that they've dropped scotch from the menu, so if you're a whisky fan, you might need to look elsewhere. Overall, it's a solid spot for a relaxed get-together, and with that 4.5 rating, it's clear most people leave with a smile. I'd say it's well worth popping in if you're in the area – just keep an eye on those opening times around 11am to 10pm or so.

We were staying 3 nights in the town and stopped here for a drink on a Saturday afternoon with our dogs. Very friendly staff who made a fuss of the dogs and gave them treats. Nice bar and eating areas inside although we didn't eat there. Plenty of seating outside too which is lovely to watch the world go by. If I was back in the area again would definitely pay a visit. They also have The Ink Spot which is 2 minutes away and also well worth a visit 😀

I called in here late afternoon last Thursday with my family. Was my first visit my parents may have visited in there past not certain on that. I ordered a large round as were 8 of us including a coffee for mum. And we're located in room on left of entering as main bar was busy. The barman was great my beer was good even as was key keg not cask good pint of wainwright's. All our drinks were spot on mum loved the coffee littlest niece loved the lotus biscuits that came with sed coffee too. This golden gem on the sea front of a seaside town is well worth visit. Its quirky friendly and excellent value for money with staff that go out of there way for you. We'll done. Please could you let me know you had a irish whisky with a unquie name what was please?
