Ah, The Coachman – it's one of those unassuming spots that pulls you in with its charm. From what I've gathered, the beers are spot on, with a solid range of real ales and ciders that any ale enthusiast would appreciate, and the vibe's just right for settling in with friends for a chat. The staff generally come across as welcoming, and there's a nice mix of features like sports on the screens, a pool table in the back room, and even outdoor seating for when the sun's out. It's set in a lovely historic building, which adds a bit of character to the whole experience. On the flip side, there was that one tale of the landlord being a bit brusque, especially if you're with younger folk, so it might not be the best pick for family outings. Still, with most folks raving about it, I'd say it's well worth popping in for a relaxed pint – just go in with an open mind and you'll likely have a great time.

Lovely little pub, good beers, great atmosphere, worth a visit.
The Coachman Hotel is a large two roomed Victorian pub. There is a traditional front bar, and the back room has a pool table. There is a good selection of beers, lager and cider, including cask conditioned hand pulled, real ales. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The outside seating has a covered area with a dartboard and a large tv screen for watching sports. It's definitely worth visiting if you like real ale.
Nice local pub with well kept beer, sport, and an outside area with tv showing sport. Friendly landlord. They also have decent rooms at a reasonable price.
Great wet pub with a warm welcome. Sports screens but no music, so you can have a good natter with your mates. Lovely historic building and main road location.
Really rude landlord. Went in with my 16 year old son and nephew and was accosted by the landlord who demanded id's for them. When I pointed out my brother was at the bar buying coke and an orange for them he kept the rude attitude up and ordered us to go in the back room. Definitely won't be going back.
