About This Pub

Ah, Buddha Bar – it's one of those places that just hits the spot when you're out and about in Bridlington. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is an absolute winner; people can't stop going on about the tasty toasties, paninis, and even a simple jacket spud that's elevated to something special. Pair that with cracking coffee, milkshakes, and a decent selection of beers, and you've got yourself a solid spot for a casual bite or a relaxed drink. The staff really shine too, always up for a chat and making sure everything's just right, which adds to that welcoming, modern vibe. On the flip side, though, the hours can be a bit of a letdown – it's mostly open five days a week from 10am to early afternoon, and it's showing as closed right now, so you might need to plan around that. Plus, without a website, it's not the easiest to keep tabs on what's happening. All in all, if you're in the area and timings work out, it's well worth a visit for a balanced mix of good grub and friendly faces, but do double-check before you head over.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely spot on – think delicious toasties, paninis, wraps, and even a cracking jacket spud that folks rave about.
  • Service is top-notch with friendly staff who bring a bit of banter and make you feel right at home.
  • It's got a lovely, bustling vibe with a modern feel, perfect for a relaxed lunch or a cheeky beer later in the day.
  • Prices are moderate, so you get great value without breaking the bank, and they've a good selection of drinks like milkshakes and spirits.
Cons
  • The opening hours seem a bit limited, typically from 10am to around 3pm and only five days a week, which might mean missing out if you're planning a spontaneous visit.
  • It's currently listed as closed, so you might have to check ahead to avoid disappointment.
  • No website means it's tricky to get the latest info or book ahead, relying mostly on Google for updates.

I absolutely love this place. Hands down the best toasties, panini, sandwiches, wraps and salad bar you'll find in town. The food is amazing. The staff are exceptional. Always friendly, great banter, super clean and really HOT drinks, I hate a Luke warm latte or hot chocolate but this place is always super hot without even asking. The owner is an absolute gem, if I was a drinker I'd be in here every night out but I'm not so I go for the great food and atmosphere. They definitely have the right vibes here.

Really cool, modern bar and eatery. The food was incredible and fairly priced. The milkshakes are incredible. The owner is really pleasant and helpful. They have a very large selection of spirits. Will defiantly be coming here everytime we come to Bridlington. What makes it oven better is that it is family owned and run, lovely to see.
