About This Pub

You know, when I think about The Albion, it really strikes me as that unassuming local gem in Bridlington that's just perfect for a laid-back escape. It's got this welcoming feel with a bar, garden, and terrace that invite you to unwind, especially on a sunny day by the sea. Folks rave about how close it is to South Beach and the shops, making it easy to pop out for a stroll or a bite. The cottages sound absolutely spot on too – clean, well-stocked, and just the ticket for a short break, whether you're celebrating something special like a wedding or simply catching up with family. But, to be fair, it does feel like the pub might play second fiddle to the lodging; not everyone chatting about it has actually had a proper pint there, and that could mean it's more of a base than a buzzing spot for drinks. Still, if you're after a place that's straightforward and reliable, with those little extras like free parking, I'd say it's worth a go – just keep in mind it might not be the liveliest pub around.

Cons
-

It seems the focus leans more towards the accommodation than the pub itself, with some visitors not even stepping into the bar.

The website's a bit repetitive and doesn't give much detail, which might leave you wanting more info before deciding.

From what I've gathered, it's not the most dog-friendly spot, which could be a downside if you're planning a trip with your furry mate.

Nice little local in Brid. Stayed in the cottages behind before which are excellent as well
We stayed in the Albion cottages behind the pub. We used the cottages as a base and eat out. Nice and central, well equip and perfect for my wife and I. Would certainly go back and will no doubt book again once our plans for next year are confirmed.
Didn't actually go to the Albion, but rented a cottage behind it. My family stayed in the cottage as it wasn't dog friendly and I wanted to take my dog on the trip with us. I rented a room elsewhere. The cottages have everything you could possibly need for your stay. They are well equipped and very clean and tidy. We would definitely go back if going to brid for a long weekend.
We stayed there on our wedding night and had the reception in the pub there were they did the food also my family stayed in number 1 and number 4 cottage and we stayed in number 2 cottage all I can say is that it was perfect in every way, we only live up the road and we are thinking about staying there again just for a bit of piece and quiet. It was a lovely all round experience and we will definitely recommend
