About This Pub
Ah, The Captain Cook – it's one of those hidden gems in Fulham that just hits the spot for a laid-back evening out. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food really steals the show; those tapas dishes and crispy fries have folks singing its praises, and I can imagine tucking into something like those pork belly chunks for a proper treat. The staff are the heart of the place, always on hand with a smile and that extra bit of care that makes you feel like a regular from day one. Plus, the outdoor beer garden is a lovely spot for catching up with friends on a sunny day, and if you're looking for somewhere a tad quieter than the rowdier pubs nearby, this could be your go-to. On the flip side, the beer options are a bit straightforward without any cask ales, which might disappoint if you're after something more traditional. And while the rooms are spot-on for a short stay, you'll need to venture out for breakfast, which isn't ideal if you're not in the mood for a walk. All in all, it's a solid choice for good times and great value, but it's worth keeping those little niggles in mind to set your expectations right.

Really great tapas, food delicious, great customer service, and the owner really cares about what they are doing at the Captain Cook! Highly recommended.
The Captain Cook on the corner of Dawes Street and Aintree Road. A great little pub in north Fulham. Staff are super and funny. No cask ales but, at least Doom Bar in a bottle. Super visit and heading off with a smile on my face. Thanks to the guys and girls behind the bar. X
We want to the pub and it was a really lovely little place. They had a really nice outdoor area too. It was also a lot quieter than someone of the other pubs in the region which was great. The fries were amazing too! Would definitely recommend
Stayed here a while back for a couple nights. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. Friendly staff, and had a nice bite to eat at the pub. Easy to get to into the heart of London by bus. Would highly recommend!
I am very pleases to report I had a fantastic stay here. The rooms were good with some lovely meals of tapas. Those Pork belly chunks were legitimately one if the nicest meals I have ever had and are definitely my recommendation. Completely recommend this place to anyone looking to eat or stay in the Fulham area.
