About This Pub

Oh, you know, I popped into The Fulham Mitre the other week and it really hit the spot for a proper pub experience. The staff are just lovely – always up for a chat and making sure everything's just right, which makes the whole place feel so welcoming. The food's a highlight too; they use the best British produce, and dishes like the nachos or that scotch egg are absolute winners, especially if you're after something hearty without fuss. The beer garden's a gem for when the weather plays ball, giving you that traditional pub charm with a bit of outdoor bliss. On the flip side, it's all card payments these days, so if you're out of cash, you might be caught short. Prices can add up a touch, and from what I've heard, not every dish comes out perfectly to taste – like one mate mentioned his roast was a bit underdone. Still, it's a top choice for a get-together or a casual meal, and with such high ratings, you'd be hard-pressed not to have a good time. If you're in Fulham, give it a go; it's got that neighbourhood pub magic with just a few quirks to keep things real.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel like catching up with old mates.
  • The food is spot on, with fresh, seasonal British ingredients shining through in simple yet delicious pub classics – don't miss the desserts!
  • It has a lovely traditional pub atmosphere, complete with a secluded beer garden that's perfect for a relaxing pint on a sunny day.
  • Great value for a quick bite or a proper meal, especially with options like Guinness on tap and hearty Sunday roasts.
Cons
  • It's card-only, so if you're old-school and prefer cash, you'll need to plan ahead.
  • Some dishes can feel a bit pricey, and you might not always get things cooked exactly how you like them, like that roast beef being a tad rare.
  • The place can get quite busy, particularly on afternoons, so it might not be the quietest spot for a low-key chat.

Clean area, friendly staff, decent p prices, good food. Overall, our experience was great. Had nachos for a quick bite as well as a Guiness on tap. I recommend this place for a quick bite to eat.

The Fulham Mitre, not far from Fulham Broadway. A great pub on a very busy afternoon. Super service ( no cash, beware). Great staff and good beer. A well received pint. Great fun.

We had a wonderful time, the food was great! Definitely go for the deserts (always space for that). Destiny was our waitress and did a lovely job serving us, very kind. We would recommend this spot!

Large pub with variety of eating areas. Dropped by for Sunday lunch, not too crowded. Staff friendly. Roast beef a bit rarer than I would normally like but very tasty, perhaps a bit on the expensive side.

We were served by Sarah and she was awesome, very knowledgeable, welcoming and knew all about the menu - great hospitality makes such a difference. Food was fabulous - scotch egg straight into my Top 5. Highly recommend this pub and we came back especially on a trip to London having lived in the area previously for years.
