About This Pub

Oh, The Brown Cow in Fulham is one of those pubs that really knows how to make you feel welcome, isn't it? From what I've gathered, it's a brilliant spot for kicking back with friends over some seriously tasty grub – think delicious fish tacos, superb scotch eggs, and those Sunday roasts that come with a nice twist on the classics, all served up with generous portions that leave you satisfied. The drinks selection is spot on too, with a great range of real ales, craft beers, and cocktails that pair perfectly with the vibe. The staff are always on form, making sure everything runs smoothly and you have a proper good time. That said, it's not without its little niggles; prices can add up quicker than you'd expect, so it might not be the go-to for a budget night out. And while most meals are a hit, there have been times when things like the roast didn't quite deliver on flavour, which is a shame. All in all, if you're after a relaxed pub experience with solid food and drinks, it's worth a visit – just pop in with realistic expectations and you'll likely have a cracking evening.

First time dining in the Brown Cow and please to share the food and the service was excellent. We were a party of 5 and tried a variety of starters, mains (including the meat and fish specials), deserts and cocktails. Hats off to the chef - the food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection

Excellent Sunday roast perfect for family meals. Their Sunday menu offered 4 different choices to choose for your Sunday roast, with the perfect twist for each choose meat. Veggie, beef, pork or chicken. It was a little pricey (20 to 25£), but portion very generous and a great diversity in the plate. It was a perfect introduction to a traditional English meal, and the selection of wine looked to be for every taste. A good local pub perfect for locals wanting to make an evening special. I am looking forward to returning there.

Below Average - Very Unsatisfying and Disappointing. Having heard good things, I visited with three friends yesterday. While the service was good, the food was extremely disappointing. The roast consisted of just two roast potatoes, half a parsnip, a small pile of bland, wet, and barely edible greens, and what I can only assume was carrot and swede mash—completely flavourless. The Yorkshire pudding was standard, the beef was chewy and tasteless, and everything sat in a lake of bland gravy. Additionally, my friend found a long black hair in his food. The manager did remove it from the bill, which was appreciated, but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Another friend ordered the butternut squash and black bean tostada, and from what I heard, that was just as bad. The only redeeming quality was the friendly service from the waitstaff. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for such a disappointing meal and is not enough to make me want to return. We all left unsatisfied, the bill was expensive, and it didn’t feel like good value for money.
