About This Pub
Ah, The Cadland in Chilwell – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local hideaway, doesn't it? From what I've gathered chatting about it, the place really shines with its spacious layout and welcoming feel, where you can settle in without feeling cramped, whether you're there for a quick pint or a full meal. The staff are an absolute delight, always cheerful and on point, which makes the whole experience that bit more enjoyable. And the food? Well, it's bang on – think hearty dishes at fair prices, with options for everyone, including kids and veggies, plus those sunny days in the beer garden are just perfect for a bit of outdoor relaxing. On the downside, it does come across as more of a family-oriented spot or one for the older crowd, so if you're in the mood for something a tad more energetic or a buzzing night out, it might not quite hit the mark. Still, it's a reliable choice for a pleasant evening, and I'd say it's worth a visit if you're after good value and a friendly chat over drinks – just pop in and see for yourself!

came here with a couple of friends about a week ago. the food & drinks were absolutely lovely & really reasonably priced. the service was quick & the stafff were super friendly. will 100% be returning 🙌
Been here afew time's over the year's if for food or just afew drinks can't say anything bad about this place. The food is good for the price especially the breakfasts and they even open at 10am on Saturday's and Sunday's for breakfast. The place is more for the older generation and families which is nice. The staff are very polite and friendly can't fault this place one bit
An evening meal with the family. Fantastic place with great food and service.
The pictures are the lasagne with a side of chips, and the dessert is the treacle sponge with custard. We ate from the set menu, so we had the two course choices. It's really well priced. I loved the fact that in parts of the pub, they had the open fires going. Friendly and helpful staff.
