About This Pub

You know, when you step into The Burnside Hotel, it's got that lovely, welcoming vibe that just makes you want to settle in for the evening. The staff are genuinely helpful and friendly, always ready with a smile and a chat, which really adds to the atmosphere – it's like catching up with mates at your local. The food stands out too; folks rave about the afternoon teas and meals, with fresh sandwiches, cakes, and options that look as good as they taste, all at prices that won't break the bank. Being close to Glasgow city centre and Hampden Park, it's spot on for a quick stop after a day out, and the free parking is a nice touch if you're driving. On the flip side, if you're thinking of staying overnight, some rooms might miss a few essentials like proper hooks or rails, which could be a minor letdown after a great night. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed drink or event, with plenty of positive vibes from recent visitors, but it's worth keeping those little details in mind to make the most of your visit.

Helpful and welcoming staff, reasonable prices and good food brought together by a management who can be proud of what they've achieved here. Coming soon is new restaurant to complement the existing bar food. Parking is free and easy. The Burnside is an asset to the area.

A nice clean hotel cum motel. The rooms were well decorated although lacking in a few of the basics, towel rail, coat hooks, although saying there were loads of coats hangers.
